Ok, lets be real, no its not. If said teabag is followed by hate whispers then yes iti s, but alone , it is not.
shown proof that an single player does it more then once after you die around them and its reportable sorry to say they dont have to do anything more and if they will do it once they sure will again so its not hard to get that proof

Look, I dont like it either, but comparing crouching over someones body to all of that is just absurd. If people didnt get mass banned for doing pushups on each others faces way back, then no one will ever get in trouble for this. There are far, far worse things people say in chat compared to this.

I know of many people that have reported teabagging since beta, and it never got someone banned. Even with video. Its obnoxious, yes, but not bannable, it isnt even in the same galaxy as sexual harassment or hatespeech.

I would think it takes x amount of doing it before they sent you an warning saying not to be doing it then x amount after for them to give you an 3 day time out then x amount after that for and 30day then again x amount after for full bann

It still wont get them banned. Im not talking a few reports here and there, people have done it en mass with video, over long periods of times. It doenst and will not ever get someone banned, ESPECIALLY since it is a VERY widely accepted practice in pvp gaming across all platforms.

I mean, no one is holding you at crops. You can always choose to walk away from them.

I was quoting the TOS simply to answer the question about what sections of the TOS imply that teabagging isn't allowed.
If you think teabagging is all in good fun/normal gaming behavior, then obviously you'll think those sections don't apply.
If you find teabagging offensive, those are the most likely sections to apply if you make a report to ZOS.
Obviously, the real authority on the matter is ZOS and their approach to this, as with much of their discipline, is inconsistent at best.

I'm still getting in to pvp but if you're not in a guild (inconsistent server reliability), learning is slow because there are very little tactics discussed in a zerg apart from "run here, seige there"
You've run into a boss farming group and for them you are just an unnecessary body . Of course they are not interested in having you around.
If tea-bagging was against TOS why would it be possible?
If tea-bagging was against TOS why would it be possible? Tea-bagging is not in any way offensive

The first statement makes no sense. Crouching to sneak is possible, and is what people do to tea-bag. But I expect that you know this already.
As to whether or not it's offensive, if it isn't meant to be an insult then why do players do it?

They could make a cooldown on crouch to prevent this if they wanted. Also what is the problems with trolling/insults in an adult game? This is not a kindergarden.
VaranisArano wrote: »WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »Report them. Tea-bagging is against the TOS.
Sincere question... can someone copy and paste the part(s) of the TOS that says, or implies, that teabagging is illegal? (Illegal... wrong... e.t.c... whatever you want to call it.)
There's a few eso Twitch streamers that WANT other players to teabag others, and they celebrate it. It's obnoxious as heck.
Probably Section 8 of the TOS, wherein you agree not to:
"Take any action, organize, transmit any Content, effectuate or participate in any activity, group, or guild that is harmful, tortuous, abusive, hateful (including “hate speech”), racially, ethnically, religiously or otherwise offensive, obscene, threatening, bullying, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, libelous, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, encourages conduct that would violate a law or is, in a reasonable person's view, objectionable and/or deemed to be in the sole discretion of ZeniMax inappropriate;"
Or from the Code of Conduct:
"2.5 You may not harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress to another customer or guest using ZeniMax sites and Services. This includes but is not limited to verbal attacks, unwanted messaging, personal attacks, stalking or any other undesired behavior used to cause discomfort or disrupt another customer's experience. At all times users will refrain from attacking Age, Race, Disability, Sexual Orientation, National Origin, Pregnancy, Gender or any other protected category under Federal or Maryland State law."
As you can guess, some of that is going to come down to personal interpretation. For people who take offense to the sexual angle of teabagging, those are the sections of the TOS and Code I'd point to - the prohibition on obscene/sexually explicit actions and harassing/causing distress.

Because no-one is checking id's at end of online sales so tho it has an rating it has no enforcement to insure age is appropriate for said rating

Yes, it is probably against ToS in the strictest sense. Yes, it is pretty pathetic and immature. Yes, it is probably someone who is trying to get some sort of sad self importance since their real life is fairly pathetic, double so since they are t-bagging a team mate. But would Zos actually take action in these cases?

So by the same code if conduct, pvping is against it, since you are causing players you kill distress.
Wait.....
If you're feeling distressed for simply getting killed by another player, the question is why the hell are you in a zone where you are able to be killed by another player?
I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it—the perpetrators (and their associated mentality) aren’t concerned with reprimands. In fact, getting a rise out of people is precisely why they do that. Same as a child throwing a rattler for attention. So don’t give them what they’re after. Just rez quick and move on.

If you're feeling distressed for simply getting killed by another player, the question is why the hell are you in a zone where you are able to be killed by another player? You personally made the choice to enter that zone. You went in knowing getting killed by other players was a very high possibility.
So, no, it's not the same thing. You could choose not to enter a player vs. player zone. You take personal responsibility for that choice. If it's causing you distress, you can choose to leave. That's not on the opposing player for acting in a way the zone was intended. You are causing your own distress by being there.
What a ridiculous argument. 🤦♂️
