Serious question : do people really report people for tea bagging??

I get the very tenuous link to sections of the TOS relating to bullying etc but come on. ZOS themselves put gloating emotes in the game. Additionally how on earth do people think they could police th use of crouch.

Snowflake generation is beyond me of pixels bobbing offends.

Anyhoo. Back to case in point, I'm with you OP that some players are a nightmare, I'm.all.about faction loyalty but have come to realise many aren't sadly :(

Miss use or over use of some emotes can get you into trouble js

Just a qwessie. How effective is bombing if you're on the ground and block when you see that red circle grow? I happened to be near a flag the other day (though fortunately not near enough, had to res 5 or 6). I'm still getting in to pvp but if you're not in a guild (inconsistent server reliability), learning is slow because there are very little tactics discussed in a zerg apart from "run here, seige there"

If you are standing on or near a flag, its a good idea to be alert, holding block, and aware that you are bomber bait. If you really want to, detect pots or magelight are great. If you see the bomber coming, take your choice of defensive/evasive maneuvers.

Its not a great time to go AFK. The bomber(s) want to hit the low health/AFK guy in order to score an easy kill and trigger Vicious Death for free extra damage on everyone else.

Report them. Tea-bagging is against the TOS.

Sincere question... can someone copy and paste the part(s) of the TOS that says, or implies, that teabagging is illegal? (Illegal... wrong... e.t.c... whatever you want to call it.)
There's a few eso Twitch streamers that WANT other players to teabag others, and they celebrate it. It's obnoxious as heck.

Probably Section 8 of the TOS, wherein you agree not to:

"Take any action, organize, transmit any Content, effectuate or participate in any activity, group, or guild that is harmful, tortuous, abusive, hateful (including “hate speech”), racially, ethnically, religiously or otherwise offensive, obscene, threatening, bullying, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, libelous, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, encourages conduct that would violate a law or is, in a reasonable person's view, objectionable and/or deemed to be in the sole discretion of ZeniMax inappropriate;"

Or from the Code of Conduct:
"2.5 You may not harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress to another customer or guest using ZeniMax sites and Services. This includes but is not limited to verbal attacks, unwanted messaging, personal attacks, stalking or any other undesired behavior used to cause discomfort or disrupt another customer's experience. At all times users will refrain from attacking Age, Race, Disability, Sexual Orientation, National Origin, Pregnancy, Gender or any other protected category under Federal or Maryland State law."

As you can guess, some of that is going to come down to personal interpretation. For people who take offense to the sexual angle of teabagging, those are the sections of the TOS and Code I'd point to - the prohibition on obscene/sexually explicit actions and harassing/causing distress.

Yes, it is probably against ToS in the strictest sense. Yes, it is pretty pathetic and immature. Yes, it is probably someone who is trying to get some sort of sad self importance since their real life is fairly pathetic, double so since they are t-bagging a team mate. But would Zos actually take action in these cases?

Id have to say NO but one would never know anyhow inless you know the person or they message you after with hate mail. I do tho believe that reports are tracked and if said player had enough of them it could be they take action but at this point would it be this one act or the X amount of them that made them do something id go with the last because this acts so common but at some point with x amount of reports against 1 person by many they seem to have to do something to get it across that not everyone enjoys it and some take real offense to it

I would agree that it would be unlikely Zos would take action against players with immature behavior like that. They have taken action against players who take things to an absurd level.

Back when cod was the greatest thing ever, when you didn’t get put with some raging 12 year old

even during its peak there was teabagging going on tho, same with every other competitive pvp game out there.

Reason most have gotten tried of it as they've grown-up

I realise that I did the same nonsense when I was younger, and reporting someone for something so harmless now at 33 for that seems a bit ridiculous to me. But YMMV. I still play cod, halo, and gears of war, and ppl still teabag sometimes and then I just chuckle.

I see the racist sexist, homophobic, transphobic and chauvinistic comments as far far more of a problem then someone taking a kneel over my torso.

I think both acts are about the same reason i use emotes tho they've gotten me into trouble too but being grown i like the items the game actually gives us ( flip the Bird ) to use over the age old made up use of an button to go up and down ( tea bagging) when trying to get people to come back to my farm location after killing them, its not personal its farming and you got to pick your potatoes accordingly 😆 😆 😆

I like the salty and 🍅 chop emote. 😅 Or to confuse them I'll use the normal mistletoe 😅

Report them. Tea-bagging is against the TOS.

This is a genuine question here. Is it actually?

I don't Tea-Bag because the act lowers your brain cells by 50%, but I it didn't occur to me it was outright against the rules.
