changing guild name/why did an admin change my password?

Hello, two questions in one topic, because why not.

One, is there a way to change my guilds name? It used to be a guild for personal friends only but since all those *** have stopped playing I'd like to take a new approach with it.
Two, why the hell did I have to reset my password, when I tried to post on the forums I got this message:
''You need to reset your password. This is most likely because an administrator recently changed your account information. Click here to reset your password.''

Why would an admin mess with my account info without notifying me, that's just weird.

No idea about guild names.

For info on the forum password reset, read previous topics and Dev Tracker. No-one has messed with your account info, the forum software provider (not ZOS) had a security breach and all passwords were reset. Make sure it's different from your game password (and all other applications etc).

Very nice, I updated my password as I said, trying to make a support ticket to change guildname, site returns an error claiming my password is wrong, and it won't let me edit it, the *** is going on

While no personal information was shared, its generally good not to duplicate passwords.

Not only that, but forum accounts are generally considered more vulnerable than game accounts, so having your game account set up the same as your forum account is not recommended as it gives ne'er do wells an easier way into your game account. See yesterday's topic from a player who logged into his forum account only to find he was logged into someone else's - not necessarily a big issue with the forum, but a potentially much bigger issue with the game.
