And sorry to tell you, this skill only tickles my characters.. so are you like on some full glass gank build? If so.. accept it and other channels as the risk you should live (or die) with.

Tip: Have you tried using Break-Free?

This skill was buffed in with all other dots in Elsweyr release but remained untouched when dots were brought “back in line”, it exists completely outside the “standard” the devs wanted to achieve. Yes you can break free but that only removes the stun, you then also have to interrupt the person channeling it. This makes it overloaded imo. Imagine if radiant destruction also stunned, that is what the skill feels like.
The nature of the skill with its instant stun, and need to interrupt after to stop the dot tick, means you easily get 3 or sometimes even 5 ticks of the damage.

If anyone thought that Dizzy overperformed, and this doesn’t right now, you don’t know what you are talking about!

With the lack of honor or fairness in PvP, I am not surprised there is a tank meta.

Zerglings gonna spam stuff and no matter what it is, it can get annoying.. most people attack the zerglings to kill them (me also) by luring some of them to follow us and then taking them out. What i accept though, is that they are smart if they stay together, stop my burst when can and try to drain my resources with CC "spam". They do it with Psijic Bubble and stuff. They are cute and scared of you.

One thing people forget often, i used to be annoyed too about many such things, until realized that they are not playing to just be our AP farms, so they should have some ways to atleast make us retreat or die if caught. Just have to play smart and not overly extend full yolo.

When on my melee brawlers i have zero issues with channeled stuff, Drain also just tickles and i enjoy meeting vampire rp characters and taking them down, when i am on my rollerblade i enjoy meeting the melee brawlers, i can dance and roll around them and enjoy taking them down, then again.. on my magicka necro, damn it would feel sucky without being vampire rp character.

So there is still a small rock, paper & scissors what comes to those stuff, Drain is rarely seen.. outside some Magcros and Magdens since their Stun options are not often that viable if wanna fight good opponents, so Drain is sort of only choice. Would suck if it was taken away as an option due to some zerglings touching someones tralala with it.

Used to know a sorc tank that ran it. It was underwhelming.

Honestly, not a good skill outside of some niche thematic builds.
