Blackrose prison Dual Wield is rarely used but it is still op, just because it isn't meta doesn't mean it shouldn't be nerfed. Swifty wasn't meta but it got nerfed you don't know what you are talking about.

I also only do pvp besides some pve to get my gear. And i can tell you, If you get hit by 5k per tick from vamp drain you are more squishy then npc guards....
And i do pvp only in outbumbered fights by solo or smalscale. This skill doesnt hit that much, just get your defensiv up.5 -

And if nothing would work on Dodge.. why would anyone play anything else than Rollerblade?
And sorry to tell you, this skill only tickles my characters.. so are you like on some full glass gank build? If so.. accept it and other channels as the risk you should live (or die) with.
Tip: Have you tried using Break-Free?

Almost always got someone in a zerg spamming it versus me when they find out they can't win without a buggy cc despite their numbers (and it seems there is a way to force it to bug out too, but that type of stuff is not discussed on the forums).
All it means though is that I will run more than 9K-12K resist on all my chars...and I already rarely die with those resist. Feels disgusting going above it
With the lack of honor or fairness in PvP, I am not surprised there is a tank meta.1 -

✭This skill was buffed in with all other dots in Elsweyr release but remained untouched when dots were brought “back in line”, it exists completely outside the “standard” the devs wanted to achieve. Yes you can break free but that only removes the stun, you then also have to interrupt the person channeling it. This makes it overloaded imo. Imagine if radiant destruction also stunned, that is what the skill feels like.
The nature of the skill with its instant stun, and need to interrupt after to stop the dot tick, means you easily get 3 or sometimes even 5 ticks of the damage.

✭It's really powerful, but no need for nerfing. It will never hit a nearly decent build for 5k/tick, but it's a good magicka equivalent of (old) Dizzy Swing, at least for us who lack thumbs.0 -

Zerglings gonna spam stuff and no matter what it is, it can get annoying.. most people attack the zerglings to kill them (me also) by luring some of them to follow us and then taking them out. What i accept though, is that they are smart if they stay together, stop my burst when can and try to drain my resources with CC "spam". They do it with Psijic Bubble and stuff. They are cute and scared of you.
One thing people forget often, i used to be annoyed too about many such things, until realized that they are not playing to just be our AP farms, so they should have some ways to atleast make us retreat or die if caught. Just have to play smart and not overly extend full yolo.
When on my melee brawlers i have zero issues with channeled stuff, Drain also just tickles and i enjoy meeting vampire rp characters and taking them down, when i am on my rollerblade i enjoy meeting the melee brawlers, i can dance and roll around them and enjoy taking them down, then again.. on my magicka necro, damn it would feel sucky without being vampire rp character.
So there is still a small rock, paper & scissors what comes to those stuff, Drain is rarely seen.. outside some Magcros and Magdens since their Stun options are not often that viable if wanna fight good opponents, so Drain is sort of only choice. Would suck if it was taken away as an option due to some zerglings touching someones tralala with it.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭Well, with recent nerfs to other abilities, I saw plenty of guys who start using it. Most fun when it is used by templar. Vampire templar with jabs, drain, cleanse and mist - most overloaded spec currently. I'm not saying most effective - just most overloaded - amount of buffs and effects in this 4 abilities combined is just hilarious.0 -
