Anyone else think Sorc pets should get a graphical update?

Not sure what you mean. I meant like updating the graphics on them so they're not this weird purple pinkish color and maybe even changing the volatile scamp morph to something different

I would really like to see a range of "skins" for the summoned Sorc pets. Things appropriate to different places would be great. Not all sorcerers want to run around with daedric minions!

I'd rather ZOS spend time making them follow at a greater distance and giving me a pet control bar where I can tell the pet to stay, move to and follow me.

I like the colors they are now because you can tell them from enemy clannfears in Coldharbour when you're fighting those. They are special, that's fine. But I would very much like if the twilights would land when we're stationary so they are not in everyone's way. Too many people don't bother to dismiss them when they're doing crafting, banking and so forth.

They should do a graphics pass of the whole game, but that isn't happening because people flipped their *** over changes to redguard style(?) way back and ZOS in response implemented a 'Don't touch' policy on visuals.

Best we can hope for are pet skins, the system is already there. ZOS just haven't bothered to use it on anything other than 1 pre-order reward.

ZOS makes graphical changes to a racial armor style and everyone loses their minds. They decide not to touch graphics anymore.

People whine and moan about all the other problems in the game years on and ZOS remains deaf to it all and doesn't seem to lift a finger.

They really do need to redo some old art and textures though. They shouldn't pay any mind to the whiners and do what they need with the games textures/graphics.

EVERYTHTING needs a graphical update in this game, its sad to be wandering around Summerset, Morrowind and Elsweyr and everything in the Base game zones look sad.

I dont think they are gonna do a graphical update in anything.

But I would love to see Clannfear get the damage of the Familiar and Familiar the healing of the Clannfear. The little dino is too cool-looking to be ignored for the extra dps of the ugly Familiar.

Actually Sorc Pets should look like dragons with even bigger wings and possible longer tails with sub wings.

They could however increase the resolution on the base textures at least and rework them (increasing detail without changing them overall). The difference in clarity and detail would at least bring them into the current gen of armours etc. I don't know what the original asset textures are sized at, but imagine if they took (for example) a 512x512 armour texture and redid it at just twice that.

Admittedly a lot of work, but if a few were done at a time and released incrementally with each patch...
