    4 - let us buy and sell them in guild stores so players with lots don't have to store them in the first place and players don't have to run content they don't like to get them

    We need a more reliable non-pvp way. I got to cyrodiil every month on 11 characters and leech my way to 25K AP. I hate doing it but it's necessary. I can't really find the gear I need but I still do it every month to stockpile for when I do find the gear because doing a DLC hardmode with randos for like 3 crystals is aids. People who don't have tons of alts are screwed over because they can't do the dailies on lots characters.

    since bethesda is a company that wants to maximize monetization and needs to find new ways for revenue growth you can bet your left butt cheek that they will introduce the possibility to purchase crystals in the crown store sooner or later

    Increase drop rate yes but purchase no.

    Don't really like Cyrodiil but enjoy BG's. Be nice if you earn the same 25K ap you get a 50 transmutation stone the same in Cyrodiil. Honestly this change alone I think this would help out a lot.

    Use the low value geodes and keep all the high value geodes gained from the mail on a mule alt. That works very well.

    Zos is not going to get rid of the storage limit as it was not arbitrary in the first place. Zos literally does not want us to stack tones of crystals/geodes. Further, as To2C pointed out on page 2, the cap exists so the transmute system does not replace clearly content for the gear we want. It just evens out the RNG a little. This is the same reason Zos will not permit them to be traded.

    Why is it capped at 200? That’s not even enough for a full 5 piece set.

    A lot of players don’t know why the cap exists. A lot more players like to “conveniently forget” why the cap exists.

    The transmute cap exists so that transmute stones aren’t a substitute for players running content to get the gear they need.

    Without a cap, players can simply buy a complete set of gear at a guild store (all 12 slots including jewelry) and then transmute traits to the desired build needs. No running any content to get gear needed.

    Players can still do the above if they have a sufficient amount of geodes banked. But, those geodes come at a price for players ... because they are taking up inventory slots.

    Having too many geodes usually means you don’t have any use for transmute stones ... where the excess amount of stones should be destroyed to relieve pressure on inventory.

    Yep, the droprate is fine, the cap is fine. The transmute system was the answer to the cries about farming gear over and over to get it all in a good trait. It was never meant to completely replace farming, many already forgot the hassle of having only a small chance of dropping a monster-helm on the last-boss in a dungeon, not having the possibility to trade the one helmet that maybe dropped in training, and then no way to re-trait it.

    Be happy it's so easy to get gear transmute crystals, farming, trading, vendors & undaunted chest/dungeon specific chests...

    Just remove the ridiculously low 100/200 cap. Why are these capped anyway, when other "money" type items aren't? Can you imagine if they capped the amount of gold you can have.

    There are times when I have a glut of transmutes, they are stacking up in my inventory (can't even put them in the bank, LOL) and I've transmuted basic weapons to nirn just to decon it and try and get a potent nirn, just to get rid of some transmute stones. Then other times, I transmute a few things and immediately run out of stones, and have to wait to build some up.

    This weird, artificial cap on stones is just inconvenient. Remove it.

    As has been discussed many times on these forums, there are plenty of sources for transmute crystals. The main problem is the RoI in terms of effort vs reward. Pvp is still your best yield for time and effort put in. Whether that's BG, or Cyrodiil. The total reward over a period of time spent either in pvp or exclusively doing all available pve content is more or less the same, but the disparity is in the volume of content required to achieve it pve side. Purple geodes drop on vet dlc dungeon end bosses, which is nice, but not really enough for time invested. Green should reward 1-2, blue 2-4, purple 4-8, and gold rewards should be tiered 10,15, 25, 50, dependent on content completed to aquire. Vet trials should drop gold geodes. The rest can remain as is... Just my 2 pennies.
