    Also, we used to be able to upload custom avatars. There's a reason ZOS disabled that.

    No custom avatars. You know some immature person would upload nasty images, so they ruin customization for everyone else.

    Only a tiny bit in that'd I'd rather be unique than out of spite for the other person. In that regard, thank you for this post as it inspired me to go through the avatars again to find something befitting my forum name.

    I just use the default picture more often than not, don't really care what avatar people choose to use, I pay attention to the names not the pictures.

    If I saw the one I use a lot (or saw it used by a troll) I would switch to a different one.
    I like the avatars as they are, the more the merrier, sure. I don’t think that enabling custom avatars would add anything, however; I think it would just be one more thing moderators would end up having to deal with. But I don’t have any strong opinions on the matter. :)

    Only because I detest forums that don’t allow custom avatars. Or at the very least, a huge selection so you aren’t looking at the same 20 pics most people seem to use. 🙈

    On the old BioWare forums, I could use one of my custom Dragon Age characters, and I loved that. It would be great if we could use our ESO character faces as our avatars. 🙏

    I think I missed that. Though I do, kinda, remember a few people having custom avatars back during the betas.

    Yes! Especially when some upstart new kid starts in on my avatar turf!

    There are precious few Bosmer avatars and for the longest I was the only active user using this Clavicus Vile. I mean I have more stars than that other Clavicus Vile avatar!

    But seriously, when I’m scrolling really fast through threads I look at the avatars to see where I left off. I wish we had arrows like <> similar to how if Zos posts several times in a thread you can jump to their posts with the little arrows by their avatar.

    It doesn't bother me but sometimes it's nice to be unique where possible. I'd appreciate custom avatars.

    It must kill you that they change users' avatars to yours when they get banned... Either that or you're the harbinger of the end of all forum posters, and you own it.

    Can't remember which one it was, but I was in a dungeon the other night and one of the bosses looked just like my character. It was weird, like looking in a mirror. Different gear obviously, but the same face.

    But did it bother me? No.
