Although I find RP gambling kind of fun in games, I don't think the setting suits the TES universe. Just my opinion personally.

I used to play SWTOR a lot a few years back and they had a casino event that was great fun. But that is star wars, sleazy murky underworld activity and casinos fit in with that setting much better.

well, then you can add the horse racing...
    and the sports betting....
    and the strip clubs....
    and the theater district....
    and the crack dens....
    and the brothels.....
    and the Colosseum....
and human sacrif.... oh wait.... already got that at dolmens

    B)

Those are all in the game though. Except they don’t race horses, it’s different animals.

Ironicly horse races. Well. "Mount races" . was a thing before. There are several unused icon for planned but later scrapped feature.

The idea is great, and zos thought the same. On implement side. Cannot be done because cannot be done to be fairly.
What chance have a 20-20-20 mount agaisnt a 60-60-60? Maximum if agaisnt npcs. But npcs aient really riding any horse in eso.

The only way for me to enjoy a gambling area in eso would be if they make it 100% free, playable only with in-game earnable currency, no crowns, no real life money loss involved. And they WON'T do it because then they'll have nothing to gain from it. So NO. As said before yeah, go play GTA

Try going to the casino in Tower Unite and not get a headache from the constant ringing of the machines

But if they should do it, it should only be with gold

How about a dueling version of the card game “War” where it is 10% of your health each hand, no health regen or heals allowed. If you die, your opponent gets to dig through all your inventory and storage on all characters and pick any one item to take? Is that a big enough gamble for you? Oh, and both parties get to see what the other has first before accepting.

Open some crown crates, same deal as slot machines but better because it's legal and the cat throws some punchlines to keep you spending.

I don't know why this is getting such negative feedback. Correct me if I'm wrong but OP is talking about gambling in game currency, not irl money. I think it would be fun to challange people in a little hub. You could have dueling bets, little games like musical chairs etc..

Trying to speak for the community at large in all caps usually doesn't go over well. May want to work on your delivery.

Now that that is out of the way. I could see some ingame gaming done, but not as a grandiose casino. What I could see is a table at taverns with a dealer, that players could belly up to and play against each other and the house with their ingame gold. The game would need to be made up for Tamriel and not something that really exists in terms of what we typically would find in a casino. They could take it a step further and sell a rendition of the NPC and table for some home use. Allowing players to raise limits and host their own gaming nights.

The caveat to introduce any sort of gaming like this:
ZeniMax would have to officially denounce and punish gold for Crown trading, and it would take a proper exchange of the table for any future development. You can't have ingame gabling that in any way can be tied to real world currency. Too may state and international laws on that issue that would land ZeniMax in many long and expensive court battles.

So many people saying the same joke..

So many people saying "who is this we?"..

The OP is just saying he wants a casino style game to play in game.

Tbh it sounds kind of cool. I wish they did have casino games in game which you could bet gold on vs other players. I also think they should implement staking like in runescape. In runescape you use to be able to stake gold vs another player and the winner got the gold.

I would never do the pvp staking but I would think its a great idea and would start a whole new community within the game. I would stay at a poker table personally.

Either way a cool idea and probably a shared idea by a lot of people.. thus the "we"..

They will NOT stop crowns for gold. That is money in their pocket. That’s why you won’t see gambling with gold in the game.

I completely agree with you. It's a shame they don't find a better way to do the exchange ingame and safeguard both parties. But that is another topic.
