People don't stress about what they don't want or see value in. Obviously you have created something that has enough good in it to make people highly desire playing a polished version.
Just be transparent, let us know what's really going on and what reasonable timeframes can be expected. Stop hiding behind the wall of silence. The anger and frustration is a compliment if you look beyond the angst to the "why" it even exists.
Just be candid already. The truth is less damaging than the silence.
Love the game and plan to subscribe a long time... try something new for an MMO company, don't keep the player base in the dark especially when you're relying on subscriptions in a few weeks.

Jadakin✭✭✭It's not about being down for maintenance. It's about not knowing when to reasonably expect the game to be back up. People that know can then plan other things to do during the day. It's like FF14 when they didn't have a queue for log in. Forcing people to just keep trying to log in randomly. Not getting to play a game you like because of issues is understandable and acceptable for most players. Not getting to know when you will play again is a bit more troubling for people. They have productive lives and what free time they have could be put to better use if they know what time to maybe expect ESO will be back online.0

They were posted because half of the population didn't read what they accepted before they started playing. While everybody is entitled to cry, what they forget is they accepted and understood that maintenance can happen at a dime like this, and ZOS doesn't have to tell us jack about what is going on. It doesnt bother me because ill simply check when the servers are back up again, and crying won't get them back up faster.0 -

frika✭the ppl that are saying its ok for maintenance to take so long because u agreed on it do realize that if we follow their logic its ok to just shut down the servers all together for ever right ? i mean according to what u agreed on its ok for them to do that and if its ok to shut them down for 8 h its ok to shut them down for good. Yup, that's very, very true. However most of these criers are going to be on the way out if they continue to be disappointed, and then there won't be a game left....kinda my point with the bulk of the posts I make. Although this game is amazing and I don't think it's ever going anywhere, I would say 90%+ of the customers are very amazed(myself included) at how much fun this game is.

The people who comment on this with a bad attitude and are like: Why are they putting the servers down during the time I wanted to play after work or school?
They should seriously start thinking if they are game addicted or not, since it doesn't matter if they put it offline for a day, cause you can play the next day.

Yup, that's very, very true. I am not sure where you are coming from. I have read a lot of your forum replies and most take the form of a negative reaction to this game. In fact one of your comments was to inform people to cancel their subscription. Also, you were going to use one of your mates you tube accounts ' who has over 100000 subscribes' to tell everyone how crap everything is. It sounds like you are one of those criers. You also mentioned that you would not post on these forums again because most of us are ar*>.
I have had lots of the problems with this game, but still like it and will continue to play. Their is a potential for a really great game here.
