Lair of Maarselok first dragon encounter (stranglers)

probably harders boss ouside of last one with HM. Typical for DLC dungeons when midlevel bosses are way harder than last one.
So the question is: that stranglers who prevent green spiders to hit Maarselok (or whatever they trying to do) sometimes just overwhelming the group. What we must do to avoid it ? Even in first wave, sometimes they spawn like 2-3, sometimes they spawn like 5-6 almost instantly.

I personally havnt noticed them being a huge issue, provided the group focus them and burn then down asap... a good tank helps if they take the aggro.0 -
TheNightflame✭✭✭✭✭how we like to do the fight (we have the achievement for not letting any of the spiders be stopped):
healer handles hoarders around selene, and as an additional healer duty (outside of standard healer things) pops time bubbles on any group of 2 or more stranglers, alternating groups cuz of cc immunity
tank is with dds poking the enemies and doing tanks debuff things and alkosh and all that
when the dragon lands, burn, first lurcher spawns
tank aggros lurcher and just holds it near stranglers or outside group
tank brings lurcher to dragon when he lands, lurcher dies to aoe, dragon is focused

Unless there was an undocumented change in Update 24, Time Stop isn't very good. Takes way too long for the CC to take effect. I've gotten the achievement for not letting any spiders die, and that was done with every DD slotting a instant CC. Mass Hysteria, for example, which is a 5s stun and works instantly. It's still a lot of RNG. If a strangler spawns and decides to immediately spit at a spider, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it--even an instant CC won't save the achievement from that kind of nonsense.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

TheNightflame✭✭✭✭✭the thing with the stranglers is you know relatively well where they're going to spawn. you drop a bubble early on one half of the current spawn area before adds come in, and dds drop dots on the other half0
