Maintenance for the week of May 6:
• [COMPLETE] PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – May 6, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
· Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – May 8, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
• PlayStation®: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – May 8, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
The maintenance is complete, and the PTS is now back online and patch 10.0.3 is available.
Why are big changes limited to each update?
Seriously, wouldn't it be easier for everyone if they just continually uploaded tweaks in small chunks to the PTS/main server for people to give feedback to as they roll out? That way, nobody is surprised with complete overhauls every 3 months that force you to continually change how you play, ZoS gets better feedback and has time to adjust before launch, and nobody gets upset about 'behind the scenes secrecy'. Not to mention the players won't be stuck in a six month long 'adjustment period' like we are now with Q4 2019 and Q5 2020.
What is the actual benefit of throwing these out quarterly? I don't get this strategy at all, who does this help?
