Poison Injection (& Similar Abilities) Overnerfed + Commentary on Ability Ruleset System & Its Flaws

    I'm super curious as to how ZOS did not recognize that the secondary effects need adjustment.

    Also something else I was wondering about:
    So ZOS finally fixed Shade and added 50% cost increase on it last patch. They are now nerfing damage by 42% (whatever) and range by nearly 25% (NOT whatever) because they want it to fit into their gap closer/creator ruleset.

    Meanwhile, Sorcs are generally regarded as the most mobile class in Cyrodiil, right? They recently made Streak/Ball of Lightning unblockable, reduced the stacking % cost increase from 50% to 33%, are making the stun apply in the destination area of the ability + increasing the stun radius by 50%, and now they're giving Ball of Lightning 50% more uptime on the ridiculous spell projectile absorb AND 2s of snare/root immunity? WHAT?! AND giving mag classes a set that gives 20% move speed upon shield cast?

    Is it just me, or is there a MASSIVE disconnect here? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills~

    Their disconnect with the game is pretty obvious. I mean, they even forgot to increase streak range to 22 to match their gap closer/creator rule set. And the dmg is still below their direct dmg aoe standard (i think?). Such glaring imbalance. How dare they!

    There wont be a reason to slot any damage overtime next patch. They halved the damage and doubled the cost for 60%+ of dots. I dont see how it can be healthy for the game to strain sustain again through ability cost increase. Poison inject is dead I'd rather take venom arrow if the actual skill at all. The only possibility I see happening is they purposely over nerfed all dots to the original power level in 2014 or so with the cost back up to it's original. With everything the same they might just take each skill and scale it properly with the meta and the class. In other words, things can't go any lower and they will slowly raise everything to "balanced" level over the next weeks, like a fresh start system. Make everything 0 then raise it slowly until the community is happy with it.

    It's actually hilarious and sad that this is the logic they used for Shade, and I WOULD NOT be surprised to see it applied to Bolt Escape + morphs after everything else I've seen.
