When using Puncture, why do I stab them with my hammer? For Axes and Maces, it should be an overhead chop using the weight of the weapon to puncture.
Heroic Slash sounds pretty cool... so why is it the most unheroic thing you can do? Bend down and whack your opponents toe?
Even using Defensive Posture looks silly... are we pretending to be a 'Naruto' character or something?

you are carrying a heavy wood and steel wall on your arm, off course it is going to hurt when you bash someone with it. if you want to do damage with the sword, use DW or 2H. how would you "develop a video game knight"?, whatever that means, when you are explicitly trying to use a defensive, in terms of in game play, skill set, for offensive task. and the fact that the developers of the game understand that people would want this, people doing damage with a defensive skill set, by way of the fact that ZoS put power bash and deep slash in the kit, you are still not satisfied.
would be so nice if s/b was a viable frontbar option again. This game works the best when we have multiple build choices, and at the moment the only sane choice for stamina players is dizzy swing. We had build options in the past with trade offs that made most combinations meaningful. On top of that ransack had in my opinion the most satisfying animation/gameplay in the game.
The solution isn't however to nerf dizzy to the ground until it rests in the graveyard with ransack and heroic old spamables, but to buff alternative spamables /playstyles , so that we actually have build choices again.

Why? Because ZoS doesn't want it to be? ZoS very clearly wants power bash to the the damage spammable in the s/b line. Power slam is hardly clunky, have you even used it? It is one of the best spammables in the game, up there with surprise attack. It is really easy to weave and does amazing damage. Just think what you are asking, you want a ridiculously cheap skill(it costs ~1250 Stam), that debuffs the enemy and gives you minor protection to do the around the same damage as, say, flurry or dive or venom skull?. That is crazy.

Nobody uses power slam, only tank plebs who can’t even deal dmg to you, deep slash + bash cancel - now the best spammable from snb, but only class who can run this without dmg lost is DK, cuz of good sustain. They can take minor protection back and move it pierce armor morph. Ransack like spammable and pierce armor like debuff skill. And with bash cancel it will cost u like 2300, so it’s ok imo

Yes, heroic slash deals less, but true spammables deal more damage and are balanced as such. I don't agree with everything ZoS is doing, but the differences set between true spammables, aoe, and buff/debuff skills are sound.

In my definition, a true spammable is single target direct damage, I should have clarified that sooner.
AoE and buff/debuff skills aren't meant to be used against a single target for dps, although they can be.
I do not think that steel tornado deals good damage for its cost single target. Only in AoE situations does its damage and cost become beneficial compared to a single target.
With all of that behind us, I am still of the opinion that puncture should not deal respectable dps under ZoS new standards.
