It seems they want every class to have a “stack 5 of them type of skills” so they made it a damage spammable with a weird function
Looks like this is the way ZoS have found to fix bugs. If something is not working properly then just remove it. Can't fix break free from knockbaks ? Remove the knockbacks. That's brilliant. That way we can be sure they'll "fix" all the bugs

Ranged builds should never have as much raw damage as a melee build. Max range high damage DoTs is what caused this massacre of all DoTs.

Maybe that makes sense in PvE where the dungeon bosses don't have gap closers, but it PvP there is no such thing as ranged combat. Any decent melee build is gonna have a million ways to get up in your face and stay there.

CC has always been an annoying mechanic - especially in PvP.. If they must put it into the game - it should be sparingly. It gets very old constantly being stunned and knocked around like a rag doll - unable to move while people swarm on top of you like vultures. I've never really liked it and always thought it just made combat more irritating.
So if they want to start limiting CC I"m all for it. That's music to my ears.

Just a quick question: you listed all skills that don't do any real damage in this patch and/or the next patch, and certainly not on the level of dizzy swing.
What CC stamina has after PTS patch?
I don't know, the same exact ones in the class that mag chars have to SLOT because they do not have a skill that does a massive amount of damage with CC attached to it.
Also it's quite interesting that you mention turn evil like its bad for a CC, when I use it on my mag chars this patch and most likely the next one, esp. for that minor protection on mag DK and sorc! Not to mention how fun it is to fear NBs.

In my experience CC is endemic to zerging. It's not a counter. Because nothing promotes zerging more than the ability to simply stun your opponent and them make them go splat with superior numbers while they are unable to move. Oh yes. Any respectable zerg uses the tactic of stunning opponents then land bursst by multiple attackers. If you have never seen a zerg employ these tactics - then you are correct - we indeed must be playing different games. Because that's basically all I ever see them do.
Strategic use of CC can be ok and in small bouts or 1v1 situations because it does add a layer of strategy or two. But in the context of zergs I would argue it serves as a crutch to aid superior numbers in overwhelming smaller forces far more than it does to counter it.

Zerg domination come from skill spam.
DMG skill spam/ AoE dmg skill spam if i need to be corect.
If you get cought in a zerg there is no point of them trowing CC on you. They just trample you and continue.
We will see this more often if the pts changes go live because then skill play will be useless.

Well skill spam is part of it. Skill spam following a disabling effect though is more effective and what I typically see used against me and others when encountering larger forces. It's a lot easier to burn down a disabled opponent than one who is still able to maneuver and attempt an escape. I also don't see what is more "skill-based" about a zerg killing a player who is unable to move. That seems to me like it takes less skill to me, not more.
But regardless, my point was CC and other disabling effects make it easier for zergs to "trample you and continue". There is a reason so many people (myself included) like to use Mist Form in PvP. Because it gives me a better chance to escape situations where I"m outnumbered - where as otherwise they would simply hold me in place and gang ____ me. Which is usually what happens when I attempt to PvP without it. lol ; ;

With the right skills on your bar you can cross the entire zerg without been CC once.
And even if they menage to CC you, CC break is a thing...
There is no CC lock in this game so please stop acting like its a constant future.
You cant expect to do pvp with 9k stamina (becuse "HEY IM MAGICKA BUILD), to have no imovable potion/skills and to probably not even use cc break, and then get sympathy in the forums, complaining how crowd control ruin pvp.
Its like to complain that chess mat ruins the chess....
If CC is so efective against you, learn how to use it against other players and dominate.
Then you MAY learn how to counter it / after you see how oposite players counter yours.
