    Let's try this:

I really, really like the new combat team. I hope they don't nerf them.

The new combat team IMHO is a COMPLETE FAILURE
    - balance in Elder Stamina Online is worse than ever
    - values go up wild one patch, next patch values down wild again
    - certain Magicka skills suddeny work totally different or become Stamina skills

I HATE HAVING TO RELEARN THIS GAME EVERY 3 MONTHS

    True!
Magicka builds are forced to become healers or tanks.
Although, I love the Sorc changes. No more bolt spam. ^^
    And NERF SORC.

Lookinmg forward to the new sets- they look sick.

Changes always gonna happen. It was cool to see Gilliam in his new role - his enthusiasm was bubbling and I'm taking it as a sign of exciting times ahead.

    Time will tell.

This. DoTs was just one of the things that stamina could add to their toolkit, but since they have better options it was rare choice. Now all dots are getting nerfed into uselessness again and magicka is left with nothing while stam still has best spamables in the game. This is not good patch, its not tragic but not even close to be a good one. Strong specs are getting even stronger while weakest classes are getting nerfed even more. Where is that "awesomeness" of this patch? In total riddance of DoTs? Why DoTs weren't just adjusted a bit so we could have viable choice between spamables and DoTs?
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

some of you might be overreacting based on past pts cycles.

its pretty clear zos is going to try to find the sweetspot for dots and while it wasnt at 2.5x its not at 1.25x either. I imagine its somewhere around 1.6x which they have plenty of time in the cycle to make the adjustments.

stop getting triggered.. if i was zos and could trigger you this easy id do it for fun :)

I'm all for bringing down the power creep, but some adjustments need to be made. I want to see ZO$ make players deviate from min/max and force us to do mechanics so that strategy is more necessary than meta sets or focusing solely on min/max'ing. Makes this game more enjoyable in my opinion. I've had my fun as an OP stamblade in my 4 years of playing on console and PC, I'm ready for a challenge.

Actually, it is clear they are not. Wild swings of +37% one patch to -63% next patch is proof they are not. Judge by actions not by words. The actions since U22 have shown that they haven't:

1.) Have any baseline plan whatsoever. That became even more apparent on the stream yesterday with the "we thought it would be cool if this did that" or "we felt it would be neat if".

2.) They are not, at all, trying to balance. How can you seriously say they are when in one patch they increase the damage of a skill (Twin Slashes) 37% because it was under-performing, to then cut it back 63% in the next patch to be under performing?

Simple math (using 250 initial and 1,250 DoT damage as a base for example). In U22 it did 1,500 damage total. In U23 they say the skill has been under- performing so they increase the DoT damage 37% to bring the total to 1,962. In U24, they are now decreasing the DoT damage by 63% to bring the total damage to 713. So, in U22 they think the skills is underperforming and UP the total damage, now they think it is too much so they dial back to be worse than in U22 when they thought it was underperforming. This is just one example that shows they are NOT doing any kind of balancing whatsoever. This whole game for this team is what they FEEL like or think would be COOL from patch to patch.

3.) Got any clue just what damage this balancing team is doing to the player base. There has NEVER been this large an outcry on a Patch Notes drop. Furthermore, even their long time streamers and community supporters (they are well know so I won't mention names here) are completely at a loss for what this team is doing.

They do not have the "cycle time" you think they do. These last three patches, from my guild observations in game, are costing players every patch. The massive uproar with this patch since yesterday is because many players have reached a breaking point with this - I happen to be one of them now.

I never once complained about this game (well except for the absurd cost of the outfit slots) since Feb 2017 when I first started playing. That changed with the U23 Gamebreaker patch and, it is apparent from these notes, it is going to get much worse with the U24 patch.

They were asked in the stream yesterday if they even play this game because these kind of wild swings really display that they haven't the foggiest clue what they are doing. This is expected in the alpha build of a game, not a game five years in which should be fairly stable at this point with some MINOR adjustments here and there.

People have a right to be fed up at this point. They have had to re-learn races, builds and rotations EVERY THREE MONTHS FOR THE LAST YEAR. Is ZoS really that clueless how much this is making their customers fed up?

Mark my words, give it U24 and U25 of this continuous junk and you are going to see more and more players seeking other pastures.

Honestly if you're concerned that spammables are relatively too strong... I'd hope they nerf spammables. The power creep's been absolutely ridiculous. Self healing will probably need to be reduced as well...

And every class having a CC. And a source of major sorcery/brutality. And a purge....

Seriously, the 3 month cycle nerf madness is starting to get strange feedback loops. For example, draining shot got deemed a "utility" skill and had its range, damage and heal nerfed last patch. Now it loses the CC that justified the previous nerfs.

The list is sort of endless. The new nerfs undo the sense of the previous nerfs, and when you add up the cumulative nerfs the skills become useless. I'm not sure ZOS even keeps track of it; they just spasmodically react with nerfs to whatever skill is triggering any random poster.

All we end up with sad sack comments about "overshooting the mark", or adding
small stop-gap measure in the meantime until we can properly solve the issue.

I'm so glad I left ESO. This garbage patch only confirms what I suspected from the start of Elsweyr - random buffs/nerfs with no player feedback all while peddling Crown Store crap. This game's tanking fast - can't wait to see the inevitable failure of dealing with the performance issues next year... provided there's enough of the player base left to care about it, lol.
