What would you like to see in an upcoming Sorcerer's class identity rework?

    take away the pets and replace it with daedric command which gives a sorc the power to dominate lower daedra and elementals and use those as permanent pets where applicable. When they die they'll have to find a new one.

    the necromancer should of also had this power but for undead only.

    The whole surge thing bugs me. Major SORCERY should be the default on all three forms, major Brutality should be the added function. Why remover SORCERY from a sorcerer skill? Makes my brain whirl

    Yeah I agree. Both seem like reasonable ideas and gives players more choices and variety.

    I'm not a sorc but:
    Define "when they die"

    Because if your in a dungeon and your pet dies, you cant exactly go pop out to craglorm to get a new one.

    It sounds like a nice idea but I wonder of itneould really change much. What would the different elementals give? Would you list pick fire atros for single target burst, air atronauch for aoe and ice for a mixture? Or would they just be skins. Adding in all that work just

    What about the 'healer' matriarch. Would she gry replaced by a dryad or nereid?

    actually it was part of the toolkit of the sorcerer class in daoc but it was awesome.

    1. more bag space
    2. more bank space
    3. Increased chance of getting upgrade materials when refining or deconstucting.
    4. 5% more crafting xp.
    5. Replace Overload heavy attack with nerf darts that do no damage and actually heal the enemy.

    On a serious note The sorc class is just a mess I would just delete the class and put it out of its misery at this point the next best thing Is for them to just leave the class alone this roller coaster of nerfs one patch just to buff something next patch just to do it all over again the patch after that needs to seriously stop.

    I actually would do something similar to lotro hunters, create some kind of creatures you can pet, each with diff abilities and skills. One morph to stamina, one to magicka. And that´s all. The "when they die" makes few sense in group play, unless you understand that they cannot die there, it´s you who die. It would hurt also in arenas. Id leave it just without that death clausule. You choose one type, that´s all.

    Better aoe skills and class skills. And major sorcery to crit surge.
    Stop trying to force people to use Structured Entropy. Better mage guild skills and vampire skills that people actually want to use.
    If you want to make the game more difficult buff the enemies but improve the skills we use and either get rid of skills that are just taking up space or make them useful.

    After reading patch notes, ... leave it be. Some people here is right. Delete class.

    Gotta reread it to be sure that i read well and english not being my native language can trick me.

    Because if what i read is right... apart from awaited but hard dots nerfs... vollatile DOUBLE nerf+, both damage and cost?

    LL nerf? Seriously? 2k more magicka and 33% less DPS with 2 seconds added? Already not using it but...

    Streak goes harder to aim and wont probably stun at melees on sides.

    Oh yeah, now the Matriarch heals more... heals quantity was never an issue. And we got the Surge proposed change... Meh.

    Ah, Wall of Elements also heavily nerfed. 2k more cost. Maybe not that bad for classes with good sustain, but for Sorcerers this is a disaster.

    So at the end, sorcs gets already MORE nerfed, the only thing getting is a stam pet that i think no stamsorc asked for. Oh, and better heals for the Sorc healer (Sarcasm).

    I know other classes/skills are also nerfed, but some identity was promised and all we get is a crapload of nerfs?

    Not happy. At all. Let´s hope Zvavi doesnt read these notes or who knows if id be see him again :S
