Day one: (I realized all this by watching the video I made - during the fight I realized nothing :))

    1. Participate in killing gold boss in the city.
    2. Big group of other alliance showed up as we had the boss down to 10%
    3. Even the other alliance had several AVA 40-50 Players in the group, we survived their attack after the boss was dead.
    4. Luckily I saw the dead boss while fighting the last 2 or 3 of the other alliance and looted him/she/it (by habit)
    5. Got 2 tickets in the loot!
    6. Was searching for an way to exit and get attacked by 3 of the returning former killed AVA 40-50
    7. Woke up at a place with an exit - had my tickets - lost half of the stones
    8. Learned my lesson one - u have to loot the dead boss to get the tickets - if other show up and kill u before....

    Day two:
repeat at least steps 1 and 5
Edited by Zabagad on September 6, 2019 5:51AM
As a non-pet sorc since 2016 the U46 Patch Notes sound like: "Those who do not wish to interact with the pet gameplay can now replace this skill line eso as a whole."

I tried the easy way. Queue up for nWGT and nICP, wait for 40 min. Engaged the first crowd in nICP and got immediately kicked from the group, in chat they say because I didn't wait for others (on NORMAL). I'm 810c and I've done vCR, vSS, vAS. I don't need to wait for the tank to engage the trash on normal. Wait another 30 min, get in WGT. This time it was adequate group, cleared it in 10 min. So, an hour and a half. Nice.

Does anyone actually need / is bothered about event tickets?

I just play for fun, and personally find IC the best zone, and best event. In particular as we lost MyM this year.

Yeah I didn't quite get the logic of that either. Though personally if someone runs ahead of the group in a pug I let them, and then I let them deal with whatever they aggro all in their own. If they feel like soloing a dungeon far be it from me to stop them, I only need the last boss anyway.

With Imperial City Bosses, there's some quirks to be aware of.

The Patrolling Horrors and Coldharbor Elite Guard might require looting, though some players say they apparently got their tickets automatically, no looting needed.

However, the marked sewer bosses require you to loot them AND only 12 people will get loot. So if there are more than 12 people killing them, you may need to do the marked bosses more than once. (Molag Bal's simulacrum is the same way.)

Day 1: queued as tank for vICP, instant queue, 40mins hm pledge run.
Day 2: queued as a dps with a friend for vWGT, instant queue, 30mins run.

WGT is very easy compared to ICP, will just be doing that for tickets, since I don't pvp.

I never understood the mentality behind people with your intentions for the runs, instead of grouping up, when you just rush like a crazy person why not just go in there solo it?

that way you dont need to wait 90 mins for a group, if you thinking of leaving them behind anyways.

Dont get me wrong, I rush dungeons too, if all are on for it, but I also wait if someone feels like they there for a calm run

    My experience so far:
    Day one:
    1. Log into a CP campaign in Imperial City.
    2. Go into the sewers to kil Wadracki.
    3. Run into a DC zerg right in the first chamber.
    4. Respawn and go back into the sewer.
    5. Get steamrolled by DC zerg camping at spawn.
    6. Go to the districts.
    7. Try to get invited to any group and fail.
    8. Navigate the districts looking for any boss.
    9. Find dead boss and get steamrolled by zerg.
    10. Go to the arena and kill the bosses there.
    11. Find out those bosses don't count for tickets.
    12. Find another boss and start chipping away at it.
    13. Get steamrolled by zerg when boss is at 10% health.
    14. Try sewers again.
    15. Zerg is gone, go!
    16. Wadracki is gone too, wait for it's respawn.
    17. Zerg is back.
    18. Quit CP campaign.
    19. Try non CP.
    20. Get up top, find a group and get the invite.
    21. Lurk the districts with them, they're no zerg as they scatter.
    22. Finally find a boss and kill it. Tickets in the loot.
    23. Quit while you're on top.
    24. Finally go to sleep at 1:30AM

    Day two:
    1. Log in at 8AM before you go to work.
    2. Join Non CP IC.
    3. It's almost empty. Go to sewers.
    4. Kill Wadracki and loot the tickets.
    5. Enjoy the rest of the day.

My advice is if you just want tickets then avoid prime time. =)

    You really just need to:

    1) Queue for IC dungeons.
    2) Drink several beers while queuing reaches 30/45 minutes.
    3) Complete the dungeon n collect tickets quickly while drinking more beer.
    4) Do whatever you want while drinking more beer.

    1. Queue for normal White Gold Tower on your tank you haven't played for months
    2. Experience surprise when the queue doesn't pop immediately but actually takes a few seconds
    3. Raise a skeptical eyebrow at the two players running around with 10k health
    4. Sigh at folks dying in the cages at the first boss
    5. Sigh at folks dying by standing in red at the second boss
    6. Experience confusion at how much easier the planar inhibitor is now but also relief that the days of always dying to this boss at least once in random groups may not ever be a thing again
    7. Remember that you forgot to slot war horn (whoops)
    8. Team kills final boss with no deaths and no fuss; tickets obtained

I would generally say - If you are not a good pvp player and don't have a good group with you, then don't even enter IC at all during this event, at least not for anything more than the boss tag for the ticket.
That place has suffered issue to do with lack of matchmaking and constant toxic players for years now and because of the doubled tel var drop the situation has gotten even worse.

Wait what? Only 12 at a time? What's up with that.

Its just how ZOS handles loot. You'll see it with crowded world boss fights during other events too. I suspect the limit is designed for trials, but for whatever reason ZOS decided to not extend the loot limit for fights that can logically have more players join in like sewer bosses and Molag Bal's simulacrum. Its not even the top twelve DDs. From past events we've seen that its pretty random amongst the fighters, since healers sometimes get the loot.

IDK why they haven't changed it, when they've got PvPvE boss fights in zones that allow for groups sizes of 2 to 24. It comes up in complaints every year with the Molag Bal fight in the center, and I figure that's one reason they included the soul shriven skin in the Impresario this year instead of changing it.
