Haven't noticed that population drop really. Have noticed the servers instancing with fewer people in them to allow for more features in zone/etc. It's REALLY darn easy to just spawn more instances and REALLY hard for you to tell exactly how many people are in that zone. Remember... with modern server technology just because you SEE less.. doesn't mean there ARE less. Most modern MMOs keep really low player counts in many areas to ensure smooth gameplay.Look at steam charts. I think they were around 24k active players. Then you can say you have another 24k that do not use steam or even double that to 48k or even 100k.
There is no way there are 13 million active players and what is a "unique login"? Is that somebody who logs in once a month, once a year, or just when a new chapter drops?
If you have been playing this game for several years you know that the pop has dropped significantly since one tamriel.

Performance is better than it has been. Gaining new players to clap err welcome into the game.
It’s good! Things are getting better.
There’s performance improvement plans underway.
QOL game enhancements.
More content added every quarter.
The game might be able to carry on for a few more years. Might

What point? I haven't subbed in over a year yet I'm an active player.
Someone who doesn't participate in housing has absolutely no reason to sub. The game is more than playable without craft bag.
i may be quoting some non sense Wallstreet journal game reviewer and his the sky is falling review of FO 76 . i have no evedience and the statement was a tongue and cheek statement. But for the record i preordered played 7 hours of beta and returned that game like it had AIDS. I dont think anyone will say its a good game. personally they should be shunned for that reskinning and Multiplayer port its a horrid game and just a half ass design.Wifeaggro13 wrote: »lordrichter wrote: »kylewwefan wrote: »I didn't put the number out there. According to wiki, Skyrim sold 7 million copies the first week and 30 million copies by November 2016. That was five years after it was released in 2011
Apparently that made it one of the highest selling video games of all time.
While ESO doesn’t quite look like it’s going to reach those kind of numbers
Also according to wiki, in February 2017 Elder Scrolls Online had sold 8.5 million retail. That was 2 years ago.
Well, eso may not hit those kind of numbers ever, it’s appear to be doing okay.
I want it to succeed and prosper and keep doing well. Tired of all the doom and gloom threads. That’s all.
The success of Skyrim is why Bethesda was able to go off and do a number of projects that probably never would have happened. I figure that is Fallout 76 and Blades, possibly even Starfield.
One thing to note is that ESO won't have to hold the fort alone. ZOS's second game is supposed to ship this year. Maybe it already has. I have not been paying attention.
Fall out 76 had the highest refunds of any game in the last 10 years. That and it hit the market with a resounding thud. Not scoring higher then a 60 in most of the reliable critics. I dont think zos next game is hitting this year. Hell they have not even announced the IP
This game is far from dead... you see players everywhere in every village you meet players in every cave,... everywhere...
I tried Wow classic few days ago... and... i do not know what they changed, but when i played classic wow, there were players eveywhere, now there were few here and there - and this is certain dead in 2 months for this game..
So im sticking to ESO, because it si great game.

kylewwefan wrote: »2 million of em Kali? Lol! That’s a lot of fake accounts dude. I guess it’s possible. Make sure to put eso plus on them too! It's one of those though, when you look at percentages on achievements, it's seemingly much less.
Xbox stats:
Achieved level 50:
Only 7.25% of gamers unlocked this
Spend your first Champion Point:
Only 7.14% of gamers unlocked this
etc;
I suppose it helps when they do the F2p events, game pass and whatever on PC/PS4 that draws thousands of temporary accounts in.
Let’s break this down a little bit with the simpleton math I can understand. 13 million accounts. 3 platforms. Well say 4 million per platform for the sake of simplicity. If they are roughly equally spread out.
I can’t figure out %7.25 level 50 characters in my head, but I can do %10 real fast. That would be roughly 400,000 accounts to level 50. But it wasn’t %10, it was closer to half that. Which would be 200,000. Plus a little more, I think you could roughly say 300,000 level 50 characters.
Btw, it’s %12.2 level 50 characters on PS4 so you know.
I’ve been told before that those numbers are completely inaccurate, so whatever on that anyways.

Commander Keen was announced earlier this year as Game 2, but it is very different from ESO. I guess it ships this year, but I have no idea when. Game 3 is also being worked on.
Seriously... Warnings need to be issued before saying stuff like this. People need that warning to prevent accidents. Fortunately, I was not drinking at the time, so I am ok. We might need to do a roll call to make sure about others.

Commander keen is not what was refered to when they said the have a brand new AAA title the are working on. It's a mobile game. Is this really what the pulled their eso team to bust out?https://jobs.zenimax.com/requisitions/view/1998. So all the hoopla of this was about commander keen?
