So I've noticed lately increased rate of "skill did nothing" cases. This happens especially when I got zerged by multiple enemies, I use the skill, animation plays, I move maybe 3-5 meters, no HP or resources refund, getting killed, ultimates wasted. Is it only me or you have similar experiences with this skill? Does being rooted/snared affects this skill?

✭✭Eh, if the health restore and resources return part is considered a heal, it seems that all heals are processed after damage with the exception of a few (like mutagen proc before that got removed, earthgore proc, and probably some other sets). The game has behaved this way since the patch before Elsweyr. Now add that in with the delay every ult seems to have, then add in the lag and it's a mess.
The skill also does not seem to have an "i-frame" like cloak or invis pot does (even though it should IMO; it's an ult for crying out loud) and you can still kill someone mid-transit. I know because I've done it a few times. The only way to prevent this is to use the skill after moving over a plane with varying degrees (slope or height), though that may itself be due to a bug...
All I can say is that when the game is laggy, better block and cast defensive skills/ult a little in advance because there is and almost certainly will be a delay , even though that effectively makes defensive ultimates and skills worthless compared to damage ones...

✭✭Maybe CC immunity is not being applied to ultimates. I could not get my ultimates off most of yesterday when in large pvp fights.0 -

mandricus✭✭✭✭✭I sometimes try to use it, in very desperate situations only, but I know it's a 50 / 50 gamble. Half of the times the skill just don't work, it does not put where you were before, it doesn't restore resources. ✭✭✭✭✭this skill has a great potential in PvP, why this isn't fixed yet?
Because its harder to use than braindead shield or resto ult, so when it goes to defensive ults its pretty rarely chosen, thus there is little to almost no pressure on ZOS to fix it. Shame, I love this skill
