This has probably already been asked, but do I need a credit card to activate twitch prime?
I linked my Amazon Prime account to my Twitch account, but I'm not able to complete the process since Twitch Prime states my credit card data is wrong. I have no credit card connected to my Amazon Prime account at all though (in my country it's not as common to use a credit card for everything as in the US).

Twitch Prime access is included with your Amazon Prime subscription. If you already had a Twitch account from before, you would just link it to you Amazon account and it would become a Prime account.
Sadly, this doesn't work for me. I was indeed able to link my Amazon Prime account to my Twitch account - logging into Twitch Prime shows my Twitch name as well as my real name (which they must have gotten from my Amazon account).
I can't claim the mount and pet though, it asks me to "Continue Sign-Up". Klicking this button let's me choose my country... after that, I get a looooong loading screen, and then there's the failure message that my credit card data is wrong.

Oh, I thought you had an active Amazon Prime subscription. If it's just the trial, you might need to give them your credit card.
No, it's no trial. I have a paid Amazon Prime subscription since a few years.
I don't have a credit card linked to my Amazon account (any more) though. In my country, you can pay for Amazon Prime via normal bank account.

    Link your twitch to ESO.
My twitch is linked to ESO, I'm also always getting all those Ouboros crates and stuff.
I'm not able to finish linking my Amazon Prime account to my Twitch account though. My Twitch Prime account already states both my name and my Twitch account name, and I got a verification mail to my amazon e-mail-address. After being asked to choose my country I get the failure message about thecredit card though.

There's a big button "Activate Twitch Prime". Then there's a message "It looks like you're in MY COUNTRY" and below, there's a big button "Continue in MY COUNTRY" and a small button "Change country". Klicking on the big one creates a loading screen, which finally prints out the failure message after a few minutes.

I'm linked, I have Amazon Prime and subscribed to Twitch Prime, it says I claimed the mount and pony yet nothing is showing up when I logged into the game. Logged out and back in, still nothing. Logged out, rebooted system, still nothing. How long does it take?

Okay but @ZOS_GinaBruno, you guys really couldn't think of a way to make this accessible to console? 😐

I understand we do not have Twitch drops, but why not have it where if we kill X amount of Y things in a certain amount of days, we unlock these? I know someone who is obsessed with the Horse mounts and pets, purple is their favorite color, and they are a total girly girl; this is like their dream combo, and because they play on console, it's out of touch. Mean tease is mean.

I also had trouble getting the claim procedure to work, even though my ESO account page said that it was already linked with my Twitch account. After numerous attempts, it finally worked, so all is good. :)

To go slightly off-topic for a moment, I've been loving the Doom Wolf mount that was given out as a cross-promotion between ESO and TES:Legends. The maneuverability seems good, and it also seems to go over rough terrain easily.

I'm in the same boat. My husband's popped into his account immediately. But mine has not yet. The offer shows "claimed" on my Twitch Prime page, my Twitch and ESO accounts are linked, and I successfully (according to the offer) claimed the mount and pet. Is there a time frame for when they should show up?

Well that does not encourage me to get Twitch Prime. That thing is ugly.

How can a human exist in 2019 without Amazon Prime? It's an essential service for me.

I'm Hungarian. I'm not even sure we have Amazon Prime here.

If you're doing it with a Amazon household, you can only claim one per household (so I was told) so basically only one claim per amazon prime. Also in the FAQ, it reads "No. The offer can only be applied once to a single ESO account, and only on a single platform.
Im pretty ticked about this myself. As I am in the same boat , my husband owns the prime account and both of us cant get it only him.

    Which were similarly ugly AF.

I was looking closely at someone's pony and the eyes were just horrible. But the pony look like it could be quite nice without the purple crap.

More cool stuff locked behind a paid subscription to Twitch Prime? Shameful. :/

In fairness, if you have Amazon Prime, you can link your Twitch account to it and get Twitch Prime... It's included in the Amazon Prime Subscription now.

Yeah, it's showing up on the in-game announcements now. This post was the first place I could find anything about it.

    Totally agree.

And if you don't have an amazon prime account...lol where do you shop? Please don't tell me you don't actually LEAVE YOUR HOUSE to shop!? There's sunlight, cars, smog and criminals out there!!!! It's dangerous!!!

    Like...

are y'all serious? You removed my pc account from the linked page and I had to re-add it! So now i'm out a mount because you guys screwed over my account. I'm super annoyed by this...

It was mentioned in this article that its being worked on for console player so they can have it in the future.

"Please note that while this Twitch Prime ESO promotion is PC/Mac only, we are making progress on bringing these types of promotions to our console players in the future. Stay tuned for details."

For me, I've linked my Amazon Prime to my Twitch today. I linked my ESO to Twitch a long time ago. I click on the 'claim prize' button, this opens another window where I am presented with another 'claim prize' button. I click this and a pop-up of the mount and pet .. pops up lol, with yet another 'claim prize' button. Clicking this one does nothing at all. Repeatedly.

I am puzzled at this point - I tried disconnecting my ESO from Twitch, closing them both out, reopening them then reconnecting. Still doesn't work. Verified that I am connected on both Amazon Prime and ESO account. Still doesn't work. It's like the button is just decorative lol

    Any ideas? Java problems, maybe?

So yet again console gets nothing. I mean im sure none of us are surprised, at least im not. This is the usual.. Im sure PC players will disagree, but if I were a game developer I'd like to believe I'd have the sense to not give 1/3 of the community something so awesome and leave the rest of the community out. Why not hold off on it until you were able to make it so console could get it too? Especially with such an awesome mount. Or better yet make it so console can get it.. Well I can think of one reason why you wouldnt...

You guys sure never disappoint on my expectations of being disappointed.

I can confirm that the promotional free 7days is working in Hungary, I got the horses and I now have amazon Prime also. You have to give a credit card but I will cancel my subscription before the end of the free trial (until then I watch The Boyz and Carnival Row, maybe I will stay for a promotioanl 3USD month).

The process was beyond convoluted. Had to login to twitch, then apparently to a different site for twitch prime, link my twitch and Amazon accounts, then relink twitch and ESO accounts. After logging in I didn't have the mount, even though twitch had told me the reward was successfully claimed. Had to repeat the process in twitch until again it said the prime loot had been claimed.

And then came the fun part of cancelling a service I don't want or need. Tried through twitch and saw no option to cancel prime. Tried through Amazon, where I'd been signed up for prime video, but the cancel membership button was greyed out and I had only a generic link to customer service.

In the end I had to fetch the confirmation email I got during the process and follow a link there, which took me to a different Amazon Prime Video website where I had the option to cancel my membership.

To be frank this entire thing felt scammy as hell, like they wanted me to give up and just leave the subscription running. Makes ZOS look bad, twitch look bad, and Amazon look bad. That's the last time they get me giving out credit card details for free pixels.

@daemonios Yeah it is scammy, but if you smart/persistent enough then you got a free mount and a free pet within 5-15 minutes. Free trial cancelations often blocked within the first few days, I think because they hope you will forget about it, but as scammy these practices are, many customers are no better. If these kind of trials would be easely managable, then more people would take advantage on free trials (free trials is not for people who creates new emails every week/month for renew it, but for those who will try it because they are interested in it, but not sure if it is worth it (and saying that the horses are a most have is a lie)).

Even though I got Amazon.co.uk prime, and have that account linked to Twitch & ESO I cannot complete the link to Twitch. It will always through up an error.
