Been playing pvp on DK/sorc/templar for years and never had problems since well there are counters to it but people are just bad at this game. One other favorite I have is "vMA is too hard" posts which increase during the Orsinium event. Ouh and then there are the DPS posts were people QQ when they get kicked out of dungeons or trials because they arent doing good enough dps... git gud.2 -

This. Absolutely spot on. But those counters would require people to actually use their brains instead of copy / pasting builds they found and then whining because someone made a legit use of a counter and they weren't prepared for it. Then they complain about how OP X is, and X gets nerfed.
And this, fellows, is why we can't have nice things.
So, I guess I'm also on theforums to learn about what is considered OP in PvP nowadays, even though I don't give a rat's bottom about PvP, to prepare for the next nerfs and figure what other skill I can use. In PvE. Because it's apparently sooooo OP in PVP.3 -

Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. PvE-players hating fans of PvP and vice versa. A guy in every thread who "stopped playing years ago, because X". Casual players complaining about pressure due to their lousy DPS and or lack of understanding basic game mechanics. Experienced players complaining about having to carry casual players. Oh and sometimes to use the guild recruitment section for recruitment (not that successful for us though... more successful in game especially after the guild finder update)

✭✭✭✭✭found the forums about a year or so after I started playing...everytime I googled a question about something in the game - I kept getting directed to the forums...
once I joined I was pretty quiet for several months, it was very intimidating to read just how well a lot of the folks knew the game...I was nervous to really give many opinions about what I thought...
finally slowly started to comment on things I enjoyed or found interesting...
at this point I've played an obscene amount of pvp, so, I like to talk about that...I do okay, mostly though just cuz I've been playing so long...my builds and rotations aren't very spectacular - but, fairly functional...
after a year or so the forums started becoming like a social experiment to me...my first real big influence was @Rohamad_Ali ...I was amazed by their ability to use images to convey ideas and emotions...it still fascinates and pleases me to find an image that'll work better than words for me...
no doubt the forums have their rough spots...
read: really *** game performance for way too high a percentage of players...
it's just poor craftsmanship, which is disappointing to realize about something you care about...it's like rooting for a really bad professional sports team...I'm a new york knicks fan, and you can find me chatting over on knickerblogger, commiserating with other knick fans...some serious stat heads hang out there, and, a surprising number of musicians...weirdly enough, there are people whom can do both...
this place here can be like willy wonka's chocolate factory compared to that place towards the end of another unsuccessful season...
simple answer to why I'm here - I wanted to try to connect...
