Bug killing Molag Bal

Killed Molag Bal, got stuck on loadscreen after i sliced him in half, relogged and have to do fight again, but this time he is unnatackable.

EDIT: Just so you know, this is day 6 of bugs on the final quest chain. It has officially taken me longer to complete this chain than to level to vet 1.

Same here killed him, Molag Bal got stuck on his knees, so I logged to try and fight him again, now I am unable to attack him....

You can leave the area, get into a party and make sure that the other party member is in an area you have access to, for example, the starting city of your alliance, and just get into the party window and teleport to player, worked twice for my buddy less than an hour ago... I should know, I was the one he teleported to.

Same thing happened to me last night. Got stuck on his knees. Relogged and it started the encounter again but now he just stands there. Cannot attack him or anything.

I encountered this. You might get it to work by doing the following:

1) go to home campaign in Cyrodiil

(*side note: also use this if you get stuck falling through the air, to avoid damage to gear. If you get stuck falling in Cyrodiil home campaign, go to a guest campaign and then re-enter home campaign.)

2) Use Wayshrine to port to The Harborage

3) Re-enter Coldharbour through The Harborage (portal to Coldharbour should still active down there)

4) Redo the quest up until the fight with Molag Bal

He bugged out once more in that he wouldn't engage in combat, which was solved the same way as described above

I hope this works for you guys. Please confirm if it does, so more people know about it before cancelling their sub in a rage.

Well I did cancel my sub in rage, only cause it's been bugged for me since early access and 2 weeks is a while to be stopped on progression.

But as I've mentioned in other threads about this same topic, killing him is fine, my issue, like many others, is after killing him and the screen actually loading to the next area, the quest resets itself so the only thing you can do is restart it.

Yep, im stuck in the colored room after killing him. Ben like this for 5 days. This is unacceptable.

Ive never seen such a gamebreaking bug in the history off mmos go this long without attention.

They need to drop everything and get on this. Optional quests, side quest, etc etc can wait. Game breaking bugs need to be #1.

I had the same issue... the response to my ticket was some copy&paste "excremental".
Had to "travel" to a friend and start that all over again.
Worked the second time.

Edit: why is the precise expresion for excremental a forbidden word -.-

Me too! Relogging or teleporting to another player to re-do the quest achieved nothing. /sigh. It was so epic up till the failed loading screen too.

Have you skipped previous quests in the main story for you faction?
Just some thoughts about this:
- I think there is a larger connection because i see a lot of people skipping main quests in their faction story having issues with bugged quests later on.
- I did my factions main quest (AD) and got the portal from that after "message across tamriel" and not from the harborage.
- Could this be related to quest progression, as I've seen people saying level to 45 and you get a portal to coldharbour - since i had done the main quests i did not get that.
- Did not have any real issues with main quests after that.

When he falls down on his knees after beating him what did you do?
To put it this way, an animation happened, so then this must be an animation glitch that doesn't trigger perhaps?

The colored room:
I just ran forwards and collected what i was supposed to and there was a long scene triggering. For those bugged here is there nothing in the area, is something non interactable?
All the screenshots I've seen have been from the actual point you start, so can no one move or what?

My character is stuck there as well. I try to enter cyrodiil and i get infinite loading screen too haha. If i dont get this fixed by tomorrow I'm done with this game.

Having the same problem. Killed him and he's just kneeling there. I cancelled my sub because of all the bugs. I feel like I wasted my money
