you'll find the vocal majority of people on here are living in the middle of nowhere, midwest USA, with apple 1995 computers or something, and then frothing at the mouth about ZOS being incompetent.
the only area with actual issues is Cyro, particularly on EU server. jokes on them for playing pvp though, lol.
Look at half of what people post on the forums! Majority of it is asking for more content when we all the game doesn't even perform well what so ever. To even assume that these current fixes and new DLC will do anything is beyond absurd.
We all know this game had declined heavily and has affected both pve and pvp yet people are still asking for more content or little nick nacks which add absolutely nothing to the game. I find it really sad people just don't understand if this game continues the way it is, nothing you ask for will mean anything because you won't even be able to utilize any of it.
No we do not all know. You and the five people (so far) that agreed with you have an opinion that the game has declined. It is just that, an opinion. Don't confuse your opinion with the opinions of others nor should you confuse any opinion with being a fact.
You based this post off of 5 likes instead of the many post that have been posted numerous times on the down fall of this game, that's NOT including the numerous changes on the current PTS that had NEVER been done before. When you need to reintroduce "OLD" crates because your design team simply can't even come up with better ideas you tell me the game is not declining. The crown store is absolutely garbage, the arms packs that are being out out are mediocre! Pvp hardly is ever playable, pve constantly has invisible enemies, sound constantly drops in and out, lag within pve and pvp. So once again don't tell me you experience nothing because that's a damn lie.
Daytime player here. This game is a ghost town during non-peak hours. Elsweyr, Mournhold, Craglorn, Grahtwood. I don't need to see the numbers to know that there are less people playing now, than there were a few months back.
One thing to remember is many people like to take vacation in July and August so drop in population shouldn’t be a surprise.

during vacation you usually have a slight increase, as people have more time to play. The long term statistics confirm it: https://steamcharts.com/app/306130#All
@regime211
I have never been thrilled with Zos' heavy handed combat changes and overall management of the game but it does seem the game is not in decline as you claim. Heck, on PC EU we had to wait in a queue to log into the game well before the chapter was released. Zos supposedly increased server capacity to accommodate the added player activity.
Even the Steam charts show an icrease of players in July of this year over July of last year and a huge increase over July 2017. Yes, Steam only measures a small number of the ESO population but it is still a worthy indicator of year over year activity.
So I ask what is your basis for your claims the game is in decline other than being upset with the changes?
Edit: link to Steam charts https://steamcharts.com/app/306130 Average players is the worthy measurement. Peak players does not really mean much and comparing one month to the previous month is worthless as there are going to be seasonal changes.
How many times do players log in to invisible NPC's, delay in sound or even when they have been logged in for hours and que for a dungeon, and the enemies never even load? And the combat sound constantly cuts in and out and you can't target mobs? This is a daily occurrence
Scratching my head at this totally bogus and irrelevant reply.
You state the game is in decline yet there are more people playing to day than the same month last year and even more than the same month two years ago by the only metrics we have. Granted I know you like to complain a lot by looking at your history.
If the NPC is invisible it is more likely that not the persons PC being a potatoe or something is wrong with it. That is normally a local issue. Sound cutting in and out is likely local as well. I cannot speak to why you are not able to target mobs on a daily basis as that is not an issue I can remember having in a long time other than when I lost connection to the server which again was a local issue.

What the Steam figures also show over the long term is that since its launch in 2014 the average July Steam figures for ESO have increased every year on the previous year, including this year.
An faction of players who pretty much treat ESO as an single player game, they buy the expansions and play them.markulrich1966 wrote: »Daytime player here. My observation too on xbox eu, statistics confirm it for steam:
17% loss at steam in July.

Though there was a high increase before, so the loss includes players who just temporarily joined back to play elsweyr.
True, but that was more than 3 years ago.GhostofDatthaw wrote: »Look at half of what people post on the forums! It is a fact. Pve may be ok but pvp has lost, and this is a how I feel number, like 75% of it's player base.
My reasoning? Just look at the campaigns. When I started every campaign was close to locked, even the lowbie campaigns. Also back then the player caps in cyrodil was higher. They have dropped it to try and deal with the performance issues. This is a fact. Now only 1 campaign is active except for prime time weekends when 1 other may be pretty full.
Performance issues is not some tin foil conspiracy. It's because people cheated and they moved alot of the server load from clients to the server to make it less hackable. It's not rocket science...
