Look at half of what people post on the forums! Majority of it is asking for more content when we all know the game doesn't even perform well what so ever. To even assume that these current fixes and new DLC will do anything is beyond absurd.

We all know this game has declined heavily both affectingpve and pvp, yet people are still asking for more content or little nick nacks which add absolutely nothing to the game. I find it really sad people just don't understand simple logic. if this game continues the way it is, nothing you ask for will mean anything because you won't even be able to utilize any of it, because the PERFORMANCE will not allow you to experience those big or small additions to the game.

I understand this very well with my completely stuck Xbox EU account since Wrathstone arrived, next week it will be 5 months and the only thing I've been able to utilize is the character selection screen, this is the true triple A quality gaming experience indeed!

You based this post off of 5 likes instead of the many post that have been posted numerous times on the down fall of this game, that's NOT including the numerous changes on the current PTS that had NEVER been done before. When you need to reintroduce "OLD" crates because your design team simply can't even come up with better ideas you tell me the game is not declining. The crown store is absolutely garbage, the arms packs that are being out out are mediocre! Pvp hardly is ever playable, pve constantly has invisible enemies, sound constantly drops in and out, lag within pve and pvp. So once again don't tell me you experience nothing because that's a damn lie.

The people who work on content creation are completely separate from the people who work on engine code, who are completely separate from the people who work on the servers. Stopping content creation will not speed up the implementation of performance improvements.

I'm not a dev and I live in a country far from servers. So i don't even bother to git good in mmo aspect. Is it a problem? Yes. I play the game since it's launch, back when many considered it to be shite. Mmo fans and Elder Scrolls alike. And I've enjoyed it. The real problem of this game now brings me back to that time. There was not much people to produce lag. And the devs still cared about the story and not yet concluded plots.
So I am as bitter as you, reasons are different tho.

Your post is rather difficult to read tho. I pointed that out in my original post. I also think that's pointless and silly to try to accuse any player who enjoy at least one aspect of the game to be devs in disguise.

Here on forums performance-knights are the most angry towards anyone else and no wonder no one likes it. Maybe when all of you stick to civil conversation everyone else would be less annoyed.

Especially with nerf roulette this patch they really are killing it. Why can't they do maintainance patches with new content releases at the same time? They surely make enough money if the game with Elsweyr release is as successful as they say. Lots of new items on the store like skill points to go with the skill lines for my alts, hundred dollar houses, new crown crates. Surely they can fix all these performance problems? They keep pushing the date back now it's what until 2020?

Just because zos doesn't acknowledge the issues and or some players dont experience them to such a debilitating degree doesn't mean they dont exist!!

I couldn't even say that it has declined in terms of performance as many people claim. ESO has had phases of severe performance issues from the beginning, when every 3rd loading screen was infinite and you had to restart the game, or certain feature like the group finder were straight up inoperable.
I have to assume anyone who claims the game has gotten worse in that regard has been here all of 5 minutes or just sees the past with rose-colored classes.

Personally, besides the hiccups at the start of the year, the game runs fine for me atm.

Your assumption is absolutely correct, I've played for about 4 years and now my EU account has been completely stuck for almost 5 months, game is definitely much better and roses everywhere, must admit I don't have any lag when I cannot even log in at all.

That's aweful. I'm assuming you've killed any subscription and raised a support ticket. Have you had any response or prognosis? Have they offered any assistance or compensation? Is this an isolated case or are there more people you know of suffering this? Sounds terrible if you've been left at the wayside by zos.

here's a strajety:

Reduce the number of cogs turning the wheels of content creation.
Harvest resources from reduced expenditure.
Pay for new cogs that turn the wheels of performance improvement instead.


All modern organisations use a core of permanent staff with business knowledge, that are supplemented according to need, with technical specialists to deliver the product. This is driven by the Product Owner's (in Agile) prioritisation of the work.

The Product Owner is currently choosing content over performance. This is quite clearly demonstrable.
The forum feedback is also clear; forum players want the focus to be on performance improvement, not new content.

At least for a defined period of focused performance improvement.

I don't recognise your description of the game. Are you sure it's not your computer? I literally have none of those errors, and your opinion of the Crown store is just that, your opinion, I happen to like most of the items on offer, although I think it's expensive.

Some others have the same issue also, but I assume it's quite rare, my Xbox EU account got stuck when logging in after the Wrathstone download, I haven't been able to log in even once since then. I can still log in on NA server, some NA players can also log in on EU server even their NA account is stuck.

I've had some support tickets regarding my stuck account and missed other stuff, my account was investigated and probably nothing more. I think I've closed 2 tickets myself just out of frustration, on last one I asked for some clear plan how they will fix my account, I checked the ticket the next day and no answer, then I just closed the ticket. Being patient and waiting for some endless investigation won't get anything fixed, now after almost 5 months I've lost all hope.

When my account got stuck I thought surely it will get fixed in a week or two, my ESO+ membership was just renewed before Wrathstone so almost the full month was wasted. I still had some hope after month even my EU account was stuck, I thought I try on NA server, I created similar breton templar and warden characters I have on EU, both are grand overlords so I have more than 5 minutes experience of pvp lag. I planned to play mostly pvp on NA, I played for about 5 weeks and got quite nicely champion points and researches done in that time. I played battlegrounds much also and tried to get the weekly golden rewards with both characters while getting them in top 100 Vivec campaign also. First few weeks went mentally surprisingly fine as a noob with mixed pvp item sets, then I started getting salted up when my characters weren't nearly as strong as my EU versions yet I tried to play the same way.

I noticed on many Sundays that battlegrounds score didn't register on leaderboards at all, especially deathmatches didn't work. On fifth week I missed few gold items by very small margin even I had done easily enough score for leaderboards, after all the lag and deserter penalties after crashes during those weeks on NA I just had enough, those few missed gold rewards just triggered the brainsplosion. On EU account I have inventories full of gold jewelry and I could craft anything easily whenever I wanted, now I was still collecting some full gold sets after 5 weeks on NA. I'm still in small EU smurf pvp guild on NA, the next day I just gave away most of my stuff and gold, I have still about one week's pvp rewards in the mail I'll donate away, also with almost 10 mil ap left I'll buy stuff from golden khajiit and give away at some point.

So after 5 weeks I quit on NA and remaining 3 weeks of membership was wasted again, I didn't remember to cancel my membership at all since I've played continuously for about 4 years on EU, I realized that while I was checking forum, I cancelled it, but of course the new payment was done just the day before, there was one more full donation month for Zenimax. After Wrathstone I've had about 10-11 weeks of uselsess membership time for me, nothing but mistakes after my EU account got stuck.

This has been my favorite game for past 4 years, I've spent much time and money on this game, after this little salty story you might have some clue about my feelings about ESO at the moment. I'll probably try one last support ticket and get some sense to all this, if I feel my problems aren't too important again, then I might create some entertaining thread and get myself permabanned on forum, not sure yet what to do, but something must be done for sure.
