Dearest Zos,
I wish I didn't have to post this thread but I am a bit tired of having to submit a ticket every time just to receive my twitch reward when everyone else gets them on time.; I wait now till the after the date it says drops will go out ...I wait longer to give you all more time. I did submit a ticket which is not easy to do btw. If it was an easy thing I would not be as annoyed but it's a pain your ticket system. I should be able to go straight to 'I have not received my twitch reward yet' section since it is an ongoing issue for some players.

I am in Australia and I woke up and woke my husband up at 4 am to watch that live twitch stream on July 28th for us because we are a day ahead of America. I encourage my husband to watch this twitch and he got his rewards but not I. Also, I have my own account and my eso plus and I spend a lot of money on this game so it's not like I just want free stuff. I feel this game is worth supporting so we both are permanent eso plus members. I have no idea why I always have this issue with my drops.

thank you for reading and please forgive me for being a bit cranky about this <3

I did just submit a ticket but my point is I shouldn't have to every time I watch a twitch stream you suggest for me that guarantees a reward thank you.

Few from ZOS will read this, so aiming it towards them is pretty pointless.

As for your issues, do you listen to the stream with the sound off? I did that at first and it often caused me problem with receiving the crates, but it was easily solved by simply having the stream's volume on very low.

Keep the stream volume on all it's max, that's being metered when gauging a viewer's eligibility to receive a reward. In Windows taskbar right-click on the volume icon, select Open Volume Mixer. Set the slider for your browser all the way to zero, then you won't hear anything from the stream.

You can also right click the tab and mute it there.

But that's the stream from a week ago. The one where the rewards won't be late until after the 16th, which is the official date given. How do you already know you won't get them in that timeframe?

Edit: I went to find the quote and can now only find the vague "during the month of August" -- while I'd still hold them to the 16th cause I swear it was the date they've given, it seems the end of the reward drop phase is now the last day of August, officially.

Edit edit: Actually found the forum post that states PC drops have supposedly been delivered and only console should be 16th. Well damn. Guess I'm not getting mine either.

I submitted a ticket as well, and the reply was that was being sent out from 29th July to 2nd August, and told me to wait because it's on it's way! The reply was on 3rd August though... so I don't know what I'm suppose to wait for...

I've heard people say to not mute the stream to be be valid for a crate.
I use Firefox and luckely it have a feature that you can mute a website by a speaker symbol on the website tab itself when sound is playing.
It have always worked for me as I can have several streams up at once and all being muted while doing something else.
I never touch the volume of the stream itself just to be safe.

I may be wrong but I'm fairly sure I've seen players say they received drops on one account but not another. Assuming they are running both accounts from the same location, could it have to do with IP? As in Twitch detects there are two accounts on the same IP and only gives rewards to one.

I got the crates from the 26th, but not the fire love from the 27th. Now that others mention it, I did have the volume low, but it certainly wasn't mute. Ticket in (first I've ever had to file one for this... sorry to hear your experience has been so rough).

Drops are random, not guaranteed for general streamers. For the ESO Live and other Bethesda TV, make sure to watch for 10 minutes with that as the main tab open. Also the latest round will be delivered by August 16. So even though many have received them, they may not have gone out for all.

OP, have you made sure you are fully logged in to Twitch while watching the stream, and have you taken the steps to link your Twitch and ESO accounts? Different browsers and settings may log you out after a while, I noticed this during one of the streams and fortunately caught it in time and managed to log in. As for sound, I have left the stream playing in the background with no sound at all and still received my rewards, most recently when they gave away the fire atronach cat pet.

Personally I use the twitch app, so it definitely didn't log me out. Accounts are perfectly linked; I started watching the stream before the time window, actively watched and commented throughout, and stayed till after it was over. It really is just a matter of ZOS slacking.

If you have to submit a ticket to get what ZoS should give you anyway sooner or later enough people will stop submitting tickets.

ZoS then have to give LESS away for free.

Update: Got a canned reply telling me it would be here by the 2nd. It's the 5th.... no dice. Went to log in today to update the ticket and it says I have no tickets. Looks like I'm S.O.L. because they auto close them after 4 days and I don't see anything to update.... guess I have to file another one?

    Bleh.

    Any luck for you?

I never got the drops for that stream either. I had volume on and my account has been linked for a year now. In fact I got a crate for watching a regular stream this weekend. So I know it's working. I thought about sending a ticket, cause I would have liked that pet, but it seems tickets aren't doing much huh.

I believe the issue is that they have to deliver them manually.

Why this would be the case for something so clearly attached to their acquisition and erosion protection methods (not to mention promotional content) is.... not understood by me.

@Feindrah I've always recieved my crates/pets or even crown coins as a compensation when my Twitch rewards didn't arrive and I sent in a ticket about it :)

When did you get your response? The first response is ALWAYS an automated one based on keywords from your ticket. You can send as many tickets as you want, you won't get anything else. As that email clearly states, they will close it within 4 days if you don't respond. If that already happened, it's not their fault if the closed it.
If it didn't, respond to let them know your issue isn't solved and you'll get an actual representative to answer.

sometimes twitch randomly disconnects/glitches out when it comes to game account connections and you have to reconnect your accounts all over again, but here is the important bit. you need to make sure that your account is disconnected on all 3 pages. twitch, ESO account page AND Bethesda account. (also make sure you have email notifications enabled) once everything is disconnected - go through a process of connecting your twitch to ESO and bethesda.net again - it should fix the drop issues. source - personal experience with losing drops for a while and getting the process advised by costumer service.

essentially you may need to do a version of "have you tried turning it off and back on again"

from personal experience - muting the stream does not stop the crates. you DO need to make sure that your account is connected in all 3 spots (twitch, ESO account page, Bethesda.net) and that your e-mail notifications are on.

If you're on console, you got your items just for logging in and killing a monster. Console doesn't get twitch drops, so occasionally they will get rewards just for logging in.

I actually hate the lie by omission. Its a pretty scumbag thing to do. Threads just get locked, keep on ignoring like a pro over there ZoS
