ok i've read that other than spending coin at guild traders, I can aquire the motifs for this style by opening up what is called the "rarest of treasure chests in VVanderfell". Am I correct to assume that is talking about a "master chest"? There are videos on youtube I can utilize where people show me where chests tend to spawn so I could farm those chests until i find master chests.
I'm just asking here to make sure I'm understanding how to aquire these motifs before I start farming those chests in VVanderfell.

✭Use the time you're going to invest farming chests into time farming gold and buy the motifs. You'll get it done much faster.4 -
One other option that might not have been considered: If you have psijiic skill line maxed out, and you keep an eye out for psijiic portals in Morrowind, there's a chance that you can find chapters in those, too, as those would be possible drops from the portals. I would suggest making sure that the psijiic line is maxed before doing so, though, as having a high psijiic skill line greatly improves your chances of getting nice items from portals.

✭✭✭I never seen a page dropping from a master chest. I never obtained a motif page from a psijic portal.
I've done some treasure chest runs across Vvardenfell but those never been successful.
I have the achievement that supposedly helps you but never got a page so far...

✭✭✭✭✭My raid group has been running vHoF the past few weeks. I've gotten 2 motif pages in the past 2 weeks out of chests in the trial. Before this, I had gotten a grand total of 1 from chests in the past two years.

✭In the 14 Months I've played this game, I've found two Bouyant Armiger Motif pages, both in Advanced Chests.
Instead, I got the Motif from the Reaper's Harvest Crate last time it came around.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I picked up a few motif pages during one of the events that gave them as rewards. I also patiently checked guild traders and got most pages for less than 30k I think, except for chests of course.
There’s a lot of cool stuff to farm in Vvardenfel, it’s just a shame the chances for everything there are so low that even someone like me who likes to farm things doesn’t have the stomach for it.

✭✭I bought mine when prices reached around 100k for most pieces. I think I even found a chest piece for a great deal (less than 250k). Unfortunately, I completed it a couple months before the next anniversary event. I just wasn't thinking about that coming up soon. I should have waited, as I could have gotten it for much less. Even the 2 pages I got during the event sold for far less than I spent on them just 2 months prior.
Ah well... not the first time I've become impatient and paid more than I should have. Although I gotten my fair share of good deals on things.1 -
theskymoves✭✭✭✭I spend a lot of time farming in Vvardenfell, and have only found a total of two Buoyant Armiger motif chapters in chests. One was a long long time ago, and while I cannae recall what level the chest was, I do know it was just a regular ol' chest. And the second one dropped just yesterday, from a treasure map chest... that was a real (and very pleasant!) surprise.1 -

✭✭My last one came from a Psijic Portal. Make sure you have all the possible sources covered! It's well worth the time to send each character through the first stage of the Psijic order quest-line, just to get the ability to see the portals.0 -
