I don't want to rant, but I don't get why developer never learn. Did no one at the team say "Hey, maybe there should be an option to turn off the crosshair?"
The top 3 rated mod out there is for a feature like this, but you should not have to install mods to allow for a basic feature like this!

Sure we have the "turn off all hud" which is nice, but I want to turn off the crosshair (except or when you are hovering over an interactive item)

Also, no controller support for us PC players is just insane. Almost every single game for PC these days (except for RTS) support controllers, even indie games! So where is the controller support for this?? Many of us like to play in comfort on the PC also and have our rigs connected to the TV. Please fix this! I don't get why stuff like this should have to be asked for.

I know there is a workaround with xpadder and stuff, and I tried it out, but it is really not good at all, it is very clunky and no way as smooth as for example playing Skyrim with the controller. Especially the fact that you cant move analogy by how much you press the stick, that makes fine precision very frustrating when using a hax like this just to get to play with a controller.

:O MY GOD YOu hit the nail on the head. CONTROLLER SUpport is the main thing IMO. I mean, I was gonna play this game with a friend of mine. However, he refuses to play because he only plays with controller supported games. I agree this is terrible. You should Have Devolper made controller support for this title. Cmon Bethesda. I expected more!

    This ^ x1000.

I can't even fathom what happened that there is not controller support.

    1) ESO has been released to consoles, so there IS a controller scheme in existence.
    2) Skyrim had beautiful controller support for the PC.
    3) The popularity of controller usage on PCs is well known.

Hopefully the devs will correct this soon. Xpadder is a great little program, but it's just not good workaround for this problem. The controller UI needs to have radial menus and such. The character/inventory screens on the PC in particular are (a) not controller friendly and (b) over-complicated to begin with.

ESO has not been released to console yet lol that comes in June, it may be possible that they add that in at that time but have not stated such, you can use xpadder just fine tho

I really hope so. I tried Xpadder but it was really not good at all. Especially the fact that the left analog is not "analog". You need to be able to move at the speed you push the stick or it is very hard to get any control.

Also apart from the smooth control and the more relaxed way you can play with a controller the main thing for me with controller support is just to be able to move at my own speed. I like to be able to creep through a cave or walk at a nice pace in town. There is a walk/run toggle now but the walk is so slow and the run is to fast.

Controller support will not be officially added.

You can achieve it through the use of emulation programs.

How do you know it will not be officially added? That would be a huge mistake. There will be controller support on consoles so why would they not do it??

It is sad that there is no controller support for game that is also coming to consoles. Just lazy devs, nothing else.

I know because they have said it before.

For your second question, I do not know why, because it seems IMO like something that should be officially added. I cannot tell you their reasoning.

Because in the midst of game breaking issues going on, controller support is on the top of the list?

    Wrong.

We should probably have a working game, before we worry about asking for controller support. Just maybe.

But what do I know? I'm just a random guy on the internet.

Don't beat yourself up over it. The same can be said for many of us.

i wudn't expect much. it seems they want mod makers and other program makers to do all the work.

That's why the engine is open source and they've requested players to fix issues, right?

Doubt it, it's probably more like,

They're trying to fix the broken game before worrying about things they are luxury for a PC/Mac game

Sarcasm maybe, but if this was the case, some things might actually get fixed.

    Oh, no doubt.

Players are capable of fixing a lot of things (I've modded ES games in the past).

However, a comment about Zeni 'expecting players to fix the game' is just silly.
