How long will TESO live?

MMOS can live in a dead state for a long long time - they get lesser in quality content and more about cash shop, Especially as the player base gets less and less and the bills and wages still want paying, Cash shop prices go up.

I believe ESO will still be around in 10 years from now. But what kind of cash grabby broken game will that be i wonder ?

This game has nothing to worry about until the new mmo IP that ZOS are creating comes out, this is the only game that ZOS have and we cannot have them sitting around doing nothing. So this game is safe for at least 5 years.

You should pay no mind to the whole "its going to die" "it is dying" group of people. These are people who love the game and are panicking like crazy over things they're just fed up with.

Forums barely even make up for 10% of players in most cases with games so take it with a pinch of salt.

Honestly for every 1 person that shouts doom and gloom - there are 100 that want to play still. Perhaps even more than that in terms of those who want to play. Negative comments are always louder than positive ones because those who are thinking positive about the game dont feel the need to post because they're content but those who are negative post so they can vent. Its just how people are. The negativity comes from the fact that these people want to play the game and enjoy it but is either not going in the direction they want or are just very passionate about the game and dont know how to express that any other way when they feel like performance or changes aren't working or going well.

As for the life span itself. Content wise ESO has always had a "20 year plan" thats how they pitched it. So as far as I am concerned thats how its going to be and if you think about it nobody predicted a game like WoW would last as long as it has but it did despite the naysayers (even if I dont like the game myself) so i cannot see why ESO would not either, its become quite popular lately as well they actually had to increase server capacity just to accommodate the influx of players.

For me personally, it's until bloat makes game collapse to permanently unplayable state (already near it,) I lose interest in the genre or someone releases something better, fun and properly performing.

I'd be glad to be wrong in this but I expect TES6 will be a large but thinly spread generic buggy launchpad for even more aggressive monetization so I don't think it will be a serious threat.

Many ppl say the performance are bad or the game is broken.

Have play more then 1700 hours and only i hate the maintenance thing have never experience things what ppl here say on the forums.

It might be you lose interest when you play the game to long (Sometimes) a break like me can help get your interest back.

How long ? My prediction is till TES 6 is released. Those will be hardest times for ESO probably, as it will lose a lot of players.

More like when GTA:6 is released lol

if you look back on the game since say Morrowind, ZOS really is killing it, content-wise. Morrowind was a GREAT chapter. Loved the quests. Summerset was BEAUTIFUL and added qol stuff. Elswyer another beautiful chapter and dragons are cool. ZOS is hitting on all cylinders as far as the content goes.

As for combat, I can see where they are going with it. The meta will change but generally Brian and Gilliam are bringing a measure of order to combat so I can buy it. Performance is my only real gripe. Fix a bug or two or something.

Overall I'm content with ESO and will contiue to sub and play it. Sometimes, it takes stepping back from some singular gripe to look at the game experience as a whole to decide if you want to keep paying for stuff in it or even to continue playing it. Im happy to right now

I can understand that, i praise your honestly about it.

Personally i like the combat system (Sometimes to easy) but yes its fun. And what i say earlier sometimes its a good choice to take a break from the game.

If you actually do content like PvP and group PvE and you don't experience performance problems, congratulations for you and your guildmates.

For me (PCEU) solo is mostly playable for me too - assuming it is something which does not require consistent real time abilities use.

    Lol no do not trolling.

Just ask myself why ppl are so negative.

When i have played PvP (2017) i can remember some issues yes, but that is because its so popular. What will be the solution? To fix it. I can not think they do nothing about it.

ESO is a good game because of its community. I come here once a day to read what's going on and in most part, I enjoyed myself. As long ESO has this level of player commitment, it's not going away anytime soon IMO.

Cyrodil and then especially CP 30 day has far most performance issues. An large part is server as CP 30 day is the dominant PvP instance so you got lots of huge fights who is demanding on server.
The the huge fights are also hard on your systems as its so much on the screen.
Its also depend on your system.
Some also have issues even with strong computers so its something else on top of it.

I for one has no problems except the standard bugs like invisible weapons from time to time.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The game is effectively free-to-play on xbox already with ESO being included with game pass. What does that mean, then?
