Who are bows for after this patch?

It seems like all the new DPS builds coming out of the PTS are 2H/DW. That's fine - it makes more sense than shooting a bow at something from point blank range during melee.
But who are bows for after this patch? DPS won't use them much. Tanks won't use them. Their range isn't good enough to engage in legitimate ranged combat. They don't do enough damage to compensate for quick gap closing.
I could see mag users who already have ranged attacks using bows to compliment but their damage with a stamina based weapon won't be good enough to waste a whole bar on a bow.
Are they going to be relegated to PVP sieges / wall defense?

✭✭Endless Hail is bugged currently. So any parse with it isnt in full potential of either hail or vma bow.
After that is done it should remain as minmaxer choice of backbar weapon. With that being the only use of this weapon. Truth is bow was never good weapon and relied heavily on being carried by power of vma endless hail, or power or spider synergy or power of relequen (that nerf will come one day too) or power of snipe bugs in pvp.

I tested it and reached 35k snipe with corrosive with no-CP distribited. Obviously halved by battlespirit and requires corrosive to range negate resistances but still... and it was without balorgh. Even small buff to snipe is dangerous, devs better revert it.1
