Word of advise, hurricane does more dmg than posion injectioon on both live and PTS.

I see a race change/respec in my future. It will be my 3rd on this toon since release. Personally I think StamSorc is going to rock this patch. Not the best, but up there.
Atro really needs to allow self synergy. That could be the class defining change.

Ha! Didn't even saw that. But if LiquidPony's statement is true (best dps on pts) I doubt they will buff/change anything class related anytime soon. On a personal note, I don't think sS needs a class execute. Stamina already has several (semi) executes in everything but SnB. It would be a nice for flavour tho.
Stamsorc and sorc in general really needs some of the passives reworked
For Passives:
-Blood Magic procs off of almost nothing, yet is allowed to proc every 0.5 seconds for some reason
-Exploitation gives minor prophecy, why not give SS minor savagery now that DD and CritSurge don't use spell crit
-Expert summoner does not apply to SS since neither pet scales with stam(even though clanfear does phys damage), Atro would never be worth it
For Active abilities:
-Bound armaments is really only a pve tank niche ability that every stamsorc has to slot, but never use

-Clanfear should atleast scale with stam, but i doubt anyone would run it anyways because of barspace
-Since on a stamsorc you use mag heals(CritSurge+DarkDeal) there is always the problem that they will use elfborn(mag ability crit healing) cp even though they now will be based off of your highest crit(SS = weapon crit)

I agree with you on pretty much everything besides stam pets. It's messed up that so many of our passives aren't even accessible to us without using skills that don't make sense for anyone trying to be competitive. My biggest gripe is having only Bound Armaments to rely on to make use of our Daedric Protection passive (our damn sustain passive). It'd be fine to me if it went back to being a toggle and we could have it active on both bars without sacrificing two slots. The extra stam and light attack damage is nice, but it isn't enough and that block mitigation effect is garbage. This class has been my main thing since I began playing and by the time I leveled my third stamsorc it became painfully obvious how neglected when we have no *** class spammable or stam based ult. New overload is lame as hell and I'll never use it.
It just sucks being attached to the class that is known for being consistently powerful since EVERY SINGLE UPDATE for Sorcerers in patch notes is based on adjusting them and leaving us dry. Please throw us a bone zos.

Or i have to drop Hurricane away most likely if its gonna feel same as here on PTS. Hurricane keeps giving permanent Expedition to like half of enemies i meet. Trying to reliably land Dizzy, well any worthwhile combo to someone who gets free Major Expedition from the outer ring of your Hurricane is a bit challenging. Crit Rush helps a bit, but most Roll after that since know whats coming.

Lmao ye I thought about this too, Our speed skill will basically just make our enemies move faster than we doplus it will deal less damage now since all stam chars have major evasion.

My stan sorc is still pretty strong in pvp you just have to use mostly weapon skills.universal_wrath wrote: »Anyone still playing stam sorc in pvp? Bound Armaments should be reworked to synergize better with the way the class plays... blitzkrieg style, get in, get aggressive, get healing from offense, get out when it's too hot and reset.
But I kinda love building this class out of Legos from all the hand-me-down Lego sets, so to speak. Crushing Weapon is great, Flurry is better now, Carve and Masters 2-hand, the old uppercut/dawny combo, negate, ballista, onslaught... I miss the third bar for open world but honestly sometimes I feel like this class has too many options because the class skills only cover utility. They're just not exclusive options to the class. Way better off than classes that don't have access to the utility...
