Destructive reach doesn't pull back?

I tried on several NPCs but this morph no longer knocks the enemies?

I hope it's just temporal bug, this is unique to this ability.

    I suggest you read the pts patch notes.
    Its not a bug.

    And you were talking about Reach, yes? Read again, maybe?

    Yep reach doesn't knock back but clench does. But clench only has a 15m range still.

    Yeah sorry the borked the notes, they put reach under both morphs.
    Reach lost the knockback but has a potent dot now.
    Apparently zos wants to limit long rance ccs to a few class skills.

    That's why I was confused - ZOS really put those under "reach" morph, but then mentioned "clench".

    As a side note, after testing Destro clench, I'm not impressed with visuals at all... :(

    Destro reach looked powerful, almost cinematic with the stun. Like you were really throwing ring of flames and enemy fell from the force.

    Now it's just "oh, here comes the match fire... bam, you're down. (who'd tell?...)" While Dest. reach retains the animation, the stun is gone.

    TLDR - Make Clench animation use the Reach morph as before. But whom am I talking to? ZOS... chances for a change are below zero. :(

    Really some people liked the 28m knock back? It never made sense as you were basically kicking your target out of your skill range. Yes it was fun to kick players off ledges but that’s pretty much it.

    This. I'd love to have flame reach and flame clench visual effects swapped.

    It's more about having a consistent range across all your skills. If most of your offensive kit is 28m (36m in PVP, since Battle Spirit adds 8m to any skills with a range above or equal to 28m), while your spammable/stun is only 15m, it sorta screws with your combo, as you can sometimes cast your spammable/stun, and sometimes not, while everything else is fine. Doubly so if it was a recent change which dropped the range, which in this case, it was.

    yea but it makes sense that it is less than 28 meters. great power, comes with lesser efficiency.

    The 28m range only makes sense when you stun your target but you knocked it back. Knocking back a target at 28m range means you know it out of your range, too. So the knock back only makes sense on a skill that knocks back the target to your maximum range, e.g. 25m range with a 3m knock back or 22m range with a 6m knock back. 28m with a 3m knock back is counterproductive for yourself.
