Cast time on ultimates feels awful

The combat feel on PTS is absolutely awful. Weapon swap doesn't work, cast time on ultimates doesn't help either to make the combat feel smooth. Please just revert this...
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

    Not being able to swap / block / roll cancel ultimates is a mistake.
    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    Was having issues with swap canceling ultimates. You need to sort of pause before swapping. Also I had issues with not being able to roll dodge if I pressed the buttons too quickly. Even if I held block and spammed "a" it would just sit there blocking until I gave it a sec then pressed again.

    They put that in cause some idiot can't tell it's there.their fault if you ask me.Remove the cast time,and all others while you are at it. The combat is supposed to be fast paced not super clunky.

    Agreed. And my weapon swap just feels clunkly all the time on pts, even when not using ults.

    It certainly does. And a delay on dodge roll, and not being able to dodge roll cancel skills, feels awful as well. intended or not.

    Haven't been on pts, but if experience tell me anything the cast time is longer than .4 seconds.Besides Nightblade is supposed to be a very fast class.You can't do this to them.

    Remove the cast time. Action is supposed to be fast paced and giving a cast time is just not a good idea at all.

    Also this will be really really really bad with the lag. Skills with cast time like dark deal tend to expand their cast time to like 3 seconds in PvP Prime Time. Imagine having this on an ultimate that needs to be well timed.

    Stop making this game more and more for casuals.

    Who quits the game cause of combat? Like really.

    I stay cause of this unique action combat. Its easy to learn and hard to master. Absolutely love it.

    I honestly can't believe people are defending this crap when it is so easy to avoid this attack.You don't even have to be looking at the screen.The sound is far too obvious.In fact I'm telling you exactly how to avoid it.Just roll dodge when you hear it.It's that simple.

    .4 seconds multiplied by x.In a trial setting x will be rather high number with an ult that has such a high uptime. I honestly don't care one bit how many times you got wrecked by nb using incap. Those players that killed you knew how to line up a decent combo.that's all it was.Even canceled you can very clearly see the animation,when you say you have no warning I know it is bs. I am quite afraid you are the one that needs to learn to play if you had that big of problem with incap. I honestly don't feel like backing down on my stance one bit for a bunch of pvp garbage,and neither should anyone else.

    Intended or not, it's a mistake. Completely removes skill from the game, though I'm sure that's why you want it gone.

    Yeah the feel is very awkward on deathstroke and DBOS. I don't animation cancel on either one, just weave a LA before it. Clunky feeling. Maybe remove it and speed up the animation (syncing the proc and animation is the goal RIIIIIGHT? ;) ), or reduce the 400 to 200 ms.

    I think this change will get some tweaking, as long as people discuss it frequently and rationally... o:)

    Weapon swapping is super clunky right now for some reason. When you cast any skill(not just ultimates) and try to swap bars its a 50/50 chance that it will actually swap bars.

    perhaps, like the shield cast time, they need something obvious to garner attention and eventually remove so the majority of the other questionable changes are allowed to go live without much comment or complaint.
