I don't get the anger, quite frankly. Nothing has changed as far as earning the skills in game, per usual. They haven't increased the grind of those skill lines, just offered the option for players to skip earning the skills the usual way.

Like the skyshards, if people actually want to pay 50 crowns per shard or 150 crowns per skillpoint, then let them. Who cares? It's completely free and rather easy to get them in-game (well, I guess for some of the Cyrodiil ones, it's a bit more work). But nothing has changed at all about how you can earn them in-game. They haven't suddenly made it harder to earn them to steer folks to the Crown Store.

Same with the skill lines. Sure some can be a bit of a grind, but you still earn them the same way as before. It's just that now, if a player wants to skip that on an alt, they can pay for it. They're paying, for convenience, not the ability to even have the skill lines. I can earn them in-game and I think it's even more of an achievement to do so, rather than just forking over cash.

And, it's on players that this happened. Everyone whining about having to get skyshards and skill lines on alts. Heck, even horse training, and no one seems to care that riding lessons were put in the store. If you want to keep creating alts, then you either continue to earn stuff the usual way (which isn't changing) or spend a bunch of crowns in the CS. After all, no one is forcing you to continue creating alts and certainly no one is forcing you to bypass gameplay and purchase skillpoints and skill lines in the CS. Nothing changes for me and probably the majority of players.

With the addition of more and more skill lines as time has passed, it would have been nice for ZOS to go the quality of life rout and make opening them up account wide. But who am I kidding, half the time the community expresses a pain points the marketing department answers the call.

Although I agree that this is extra paid "convinience" that should've been implemented on the base game to begin with all I can say from my personal experience is that it came too late as I went through most of the painful "needed" guild grinds for most of my characters.

You have gone too far. I have worked hard to open skill lines on most of my characters and now you do this? If you can do this then why dont you sell all the rare skins too? For those of us who cant do vet trials we at least could grind skill lines and feel like we were achieving something but now you have cheapened our achievements.
The reality is these skill lines should always have been account wide from the start.
I have invested thousands of dollars into this game and for you to do this 8s gut wrenching to say the least. Ive been an eso plus subber for years and i buy lots from your store but your greed is going too far. These are pixels on loan and as much as i love eso and respect the devs and all the work you do i was happy to sub always have been and to buy furnishings and houses and costumes and pets etc but this is unfair. Will you be charging me to do quests next?

Get over your self, most of us have unlocked them on multiple characters. This is a way for new ppl to somewhat catch up to us.

OP you should buy the deluxe limited edition complete skill set bundle. It includes a new keyboard. One with little LED dragons and extra 8's .
