TBH I just find myself playing less of the big games from the companies that do this stuff, there are plenty of games companies making great games without being ruined by greedy publishers.Ash_In_My_Sujamma wrote: »Even if the money were to go into game developement, as if that's the issue here, it is really sad to see video games evolving in this kind of mess.
I also rarely buy their games on launch any more because I don't see the value in their games, just wait six months for the next Steam sale and pick them up at a massively reduced price.
I can't say I trust Bethesda with the Starfield release after what they pulled with FO76. I think I can live without playing it at launch and wait for their two week later sale.
Ads will help Zenimax get more money so this will make ESO better.
Maybe a good opportunity for them a get more cash.

This, now add that sports games tend to be way closer to mobile gaming than mainstream games. Stuff like P2W in loot boxes are common.DocFrost72 wrote: »
what world do you think we live in?
i don't bother getting ads in this game, a loading screen with a photo of tamriel or an advertisement about Zenimax crown store, merchandise or even a third party product won't hurt our wait. let's make this happen so this game become better and better.
CP is a crutch for people who can’t sustain and want to be "tanky" so they aren’t immediately punished for making mistakes.
It's a loading screen so doesn't matter if a static pic or something useful like an ad.
at least this will bring more money to the company.
