the reason for this is because the people enjoying the game are currently playing it.
i cannot stress how consistent this concept is.

consistently, every published MMO ive ever played that has had public forums is filled with people complaining about the game and its many issues. because all MMOs have horrible flaws. unironically.
the reason for this is because the people enjoying the game are currently playing it. and talking to people in it. if youre mad that somethings *** and it makes you mad enough to not wanna play the game, people go to the forums to talk about the game instead of logging in.
i cannot stress how consistent this concept is.
Not any more or less than any other gaming forum

holy cow, november 2013...I think that is the earliest date yet I've seen for someone joining the forum...
Although perfomance and bugs are justified, many of them last from the release date.
I know it may seem like people complain a lot, and they (we) do, but that's only because the game is broken in so many ways. For instance, on EU I can't PvP during primetime in Cyrodiil. It's like physically impossible to tolerate the 12 fps and high latency. This is why you see a lot of posts about performance, and let's be honest, if nobody complained about it then nothing would happen. So I'm glad people complain, and I urge them to continue complaining until we get the results we're looking for.
Holding your tongue to try and be "respectful" is a terrible attitude to have, and it will get you nowhere in life.
Having said that, I still think people need to be polite when raising their issues. Saying things like "U SUCK OMG I HATE UR FACE ZOS" are not really helpful criticisms. Obviously tempers can rise as things have been broken for so long, but still, it's best to try and keep your ranting to a minimum.

I’ve definitely seen the game through it’s ups and downs. The problems used to be reversed. Basic quests were bugged to where you could not advance storyline, but Cyrodiil was smooth in large battles.

what's kept you engaged for so long @rotaugen454 ?
do you take breaks from the game, play many different characters, have a strong eso social network?
