Thechemicals✭✭✭✭✭The children crying about the server being down for maintenance after there was an error are ridiculous. If it DIDN'T go down to be fixed, all we'd hear is "OMG Zenimax, get it together, why don't you fix these long load times!" but instead, their prompt addressing of the issues had people all bent out of shape. "OMG It's Saturday night, and I can't play my favorite game!" Ya know what... this is still launch window. It's an online game. This is entirely expected, and I for one, am glad they are doing it now, instead of tomorrow during the day. Let them do their jobs, and show your support for the dev team.
And to the "their communication is terrible" guy... honestly, it's been one hour. Maybe they've devoted a lot of man power to all the tickets that have been submitted in the past couple of days, maybe they're trying to fix the issue so you can get back to playing the game faster. Who knows. What isn't happening is they aren't sitting around rubbing their hands together, taking pleasure in your inability to play the game always, on demand, a mere week after launch.
So seriously, go eat something, hang out with your wife/children/parents, whatever, or maybe even get some sleep. If none of those sound good to you, turn to your other forms of digital entertainment. The game will be there tomorrow, and it'll be better that it was before. Every. Single. MMO is a work in progress. If you don't like that, don't play them. Or you could join with the rest of us and use your energy to forward constructive criticism to the dev team, be an active member of the community and stop crying.

ebunts14_ESO✭✭✭I have played MMO's since UOT2 and every single MMO out there either alive or closed has had major issues after launch.
In case of ESO it's not about taking down the affected server as it is with other MMO's. You can mention Eve Online all you want but they do not have the number of players the AAA MMO's have.
Those that think they deserve compensation for lost time better read the ToS #6 You are due nothing, plain and simple. Those that complain that they have only weekends to play, that is your issue not ZOS.
Have any of you figured out why you get 30 day free game play included with the game purchase? Because its the real Beta Test. Game companies could just make you pay subscription before you can log into the game, before you can create a character, ect. Go to your cable company and tell them you want 30 day free programming when you sign up, or to your phone (cell or otherwise) company and tell them you want 30 day free time when you sign.

This is bull sh it. I played beta. NO ETA, still BETA. Taken down for HOURS ON SATURDAY. Keep it up guys. Maybe this can go the route of SWTOR.0 -

✭✭✭This is bad customer service. Bioware acted like this when TOR launched. Little communication and bad customer service. Most of the employees left shortly after the majority of the game's population left and the game went free to play.0 -

Since they just now posted that they are bringing the servers up after you made this post and the fact that when I went to the log-in and all that, the game was still down.
claiming its up when its not is childish. Thus I take it as a kid playing games.
