O M G people or person. There are some issues going on that is ruining gameplay for lots and lots of people and the issues seem to be getting worse by the hour. What should they do, just ignore it all until Monday morning and risk the game becoming totally unplayable for everyone in the meantime? Unfortunately emergency maintenance happens in all MMO's not just the newly launched ones. So...go drink a beer (or 12 pack) grab a smoke (real or recreational) and chill buddy. *** happens.
Yes I'm sure Burger King has huge IT department. Almost everything is computerized and centralized.Hadan_of_Rift wrote: »Nice planning taking the servers offline on a weekend for maintenance. Your Burger king has an IT department?

When's the last time you went into Burger King with the change you found in your couch and they told you they couldn't take your order because their system was down?
Only if you are a mediocre programmer and hadn't tested and checked your work before pushing it live.rwood0604_ESO wrote: »no the bank problem was a new thing anytime more code is added to the game old code problems tend to happen

It wouldn't be so bad if this wasn't the 3rd or 4th time they have taken servers offline for emergency maintenance since early access. My 5 days of early pre-order access was 3, not the 5 I paid for just 3.Depending on where you are in the world, this can be a major pain, Took the kids to sport mornings, just sat down for some lunch and a cuppa in front of my new fav game, and its off line.
I do get "emergency maintenance, routine maintenance" just is a crappy time for me - Sunday afternoon @ 3pm after I have done all my grown up chores.

Or maybe you are referring to the same issue that cut the 5 day early access to 3 days that they "fixed" that was this same issue.

Wow, an intelligent post. The communication from ESO is crap. It has been since early access.Warlordgreebo wrote: »O M G people or person. Few problems though;
#1 this is something that will take more than a few mins.
#2. Primetime on sat night= screwing over 100k+ SUBSCRIBERS
#3. Like before when they had LONG emergency downtimes, I still do not see ETA. Though they are getting better by admitting this was unplanned... leaving us in the lurch on a sat night with no ETA for a fix = support failure - BIG TIME.
I agree, we can take it lighter as things like this will happen. But the company has to change the way it deals with its public, and gonna have to comp subscribers if you f up their sat night.

By not serious you mean unplayable lag PvP issues, crashing in Cydrodiil meant you couldn't log on to your character for sometimes hours, quests that had been reported for months that you still can't finish, login issues, those none serious issues?The game was, for the most part, smooth before launch. There were a few issues that needed to be fixed and still need to be fixed to this day, but they weren't very serious ones.
The bank issues, logging issues, chat and social lag, and progress blocking main quests were NOT present in PTS. Those are new problems and no, they were not there for the past two months buddy.
