Alchemical✭✭✭✭✭Yeah you can just turn it off, but it also, apparently, impacts your ability to name things. Like my argonian guild 'Sweet Water' was forced to have a - in the middle of it, and in chat it comes up as 'Swee****er'. Which imo is both ridiculous and also sounds more like profanity than the original words. Or at least if someone called me a Sweeer I'd assume it was an insult.3 -

Yep, that was the first one I came across, and I promptly went and turned the thing off. (It assumes you're trying to say that euphemism for a woman's more intimate area that both begins and ends with a 't' and just throwing in spaces or dashes to confuse it. The end result is a very different kind of confusion, of course.)0 -

"woman's more intimate area" is an euphemism; the word behind asterisks is not. Euphemism is a word or expression constructed purposely to bypass a filter (human or machine). For example "alternative facts" is an euphemism for "lies".
