That's so going to end badly for what Google starts advertising to you.Nooooo levae it as it is! It's so entertaining!
Whenever I bump into a word that hits the filter, I check it out on google and learn something new. ESO is actively increasing my word pool.
I wasn't aware anybody actually left that thing on..
Bosmers sneaking past all the dangers in the woods. Come upon a cultist doing a ritual? Sneak past. Come upon a brigand ambush? Sneak past. Come upon a mighty beast? Sneak past. The feeling of “yesssss” when you can squeeze by in tight spaces unnoticed. Sometimes I’m able to take what I need from right under their noses.
That is why whenever I create a new character the first thing I do is turn the profanity filter off.

"The word or string "ass" may be replaced by "butt", resulting in "clbuttic" for "classic" and "buttbuttinate" for "assassinate"

And I am ALWAYS having to remind newcomers to turn off the profanity filter because it affects the ability to see some opening bid amounts.
I kid you not. And I don't know why on Earth there is a problem with this. But profanity filter will asterisk any sentence that also uses some derivative of 30. ONLY the numbers within 30-39. 29 is fine. 40 is fine. But there is something terrible about 30, apparently.
For example, let's say I'm listing my next item for auction...
Me: [Tempering Alloy] x 6
Me: Starting 30k
"Starting 30k" will be censored for those who have profanity filter on. I have tried other methods, such as "Starting 30" and that seems to be filtered. And I recently realized that other 30's are censored as well, such as "Starting 35k".
It never fails I'll get someone asking "What was the opening bid again? I can't see it." TURN OFF YOUR PROFANITY FILTER, IT IS STUPID.
I'm at the point now that auctions look like...
Me: [Dreugh Wax] x 5
Me: Starting 25k
Me: [Tempering Alloy] x 6
Me: Starting
Me: 30
Me: k
On what planet is life like this, seriously? LMAO

So the message ended as Welc******-something!
Like seriously. I had to google what the word even means. Why is japanese vulgarism filtered? I can write my native vulgarisms all day without being filtered, but Japanese ones are censored???
Impressive. Add the filter to stuff who is as functional as the group finderSidraWillowsky wrote: »the ****** mightier than the sword
yes, that gets censored. yes, there is a space between "pen" and "is"
