Counter play? how about you just kite the player until the transformation runs out and kill them, like the players in battegrounds are doing when they face stam cro players.

Extremely immersion breaking and I would say to a certain extent, cheating. Console players dont have this, we have to note the actual aoes and deal with how difficult these can be to identify with everything else going on.
You can turn those on in combat ui on console...

Not an answer I'd normally give (and one I normally rail against), but L2P.
It's a new type of bomber. That's all.
Yeah, definitely a L2P issue. I mean they only have 50k+ health and can bash weave with any of their attacks for insane damage, or just spam bash for insane damage which bypasses the otherwise universal global cooldown. And it's AoE. The only counterplay is to kite/runaway from them for 20 seconds. That's not counterplay, that's just running. The ability is objectively overpowered and if you think otherwise you are simply wrong.
With this behavior, you need a blog, not a post on the forums. Forums are, by nature, a place of debate. Open your mind a bit. And kiting is a most defensive counterplay, but still a counterplay.
As the wise Maverick said "run away today, so you can live to run away another day". Standing in stupid is for stupid people. Counterplay for stupid IS stepping away. Why not step away from this?
Damn, thick skills can be thick...

If that is all you personally need to survive this ult then I should be able to use /dancedunmer emote to counter it.
As for people saying that there were organised groups... maybe they were organised as in a bunch of zerglings joined a guild discord channel to feel safe in a pack. They haven't looked lie the kind of overpowered ballgroups I challenge with my negate hoping that my teammates are smart enough to drop their ults.
This necromancer build is actually weaker than a bombblade build as it gives people a chance to fight back, kite and surive. While a bomblade kills almost everyone in a group almost instantly while allowing a nightblade to cloak away. Sure this necromancer could use an invisibility pot to disengage but potions aren't as reliable as cloak.
If you are having problems with this build then just roll dodge, kite, spam your shields and heals.
This nothing but a learn to play issue.

its really hard not to question your parents genetically relationship or your overall knowledge without getting banned. Im not even sure if you are trolling rn. If not pls reevaluate if eso is the game for you.

You realise the goliath still has access to their skillbar, right? Dunno if the implication of that will sink in, so let's break it down real simple:
You can run. They can also gapclose with shield charge. Guess which is faster?
You can dodgeroll the charge a couple of times. Consecutive dodge cost has a tendency to stack-up real quick, though. Shield charge doesn't. Reckon you can keep that up for 20s?
So you eventually get caught and stunned. Break free and roll?
Yeah...no. Break is tied to the GCD, bash is not. They'll hit first. And good luck with rolling through AoE.
Care to share any other 200 IQ counterplays that no other human in this game has ever previously considered?
You know, no one said or implied you were wrong because you disagreed with the quoted poster (but nice attempt at misrepresentation, anyway). You're wrong because you couldn't process a straightforward sequence of events.

The best time to Goliath is when everyone is on you, but after a few die the rest peace; meaning getting a ton out of in BGs is hard

Necro can also cast Beckoning Armor, which chains ranged attackers to them every 3 seconds, so he/she doesn't have to chase after them. Chain, bash, get blown up by exploding players: game over.

"The most powerful build evar" has... soul trap?
Is that just because someone wants soulstones or am I missing something here? Because I've literally never used this ability, seeing it as a waste - because I don't need soulstones. Every other ability seems stronger than this.
Is it the soulstones? The Aoe? Or is there some bug with this ability I've never known about that makes it really strong? LOL

Right, because the goliath just stands there. It's not like it still has full access to all of its skills to gap close, cc, get major expedition, and cleanse snares.
Again, the only realistic option is to runaway for 20 seconds. That's not legitimate counterplay.
The bash still costs stamina, avoid the bash, hit the giant target with ranged, be careful of the pull (that has it's own cooldown) and wait it out. You'll have a target drained of Stam when it's all over... It's only a few weeks into playing/playing against necromancers... Try different tactics.
Right, so just run away.
So it's tactical kiting when you're playing "ring around the resource" but "running away" when you need to stay out of melee range of an ult that also drains a main resource pool? Intriguing.
I'm not here to argue semantics. Call it kiting, call it running away, it doesn't matter. Kiting because you're outnumbered and need to find opportunities to pick off opponents while LoSing is reasonable. Kiting for 20 seconds because one person used an ultimate is a joke.

Now bis for dw is poisons. Crown store poisons included.
