Id like to give pve players the ocasional golden vendor reward, but you can just but it with gold anyway. Not really much pve players would spend it on.

Yeah. There is that. In general I find games which use war as a plot point are just not much fun. Which is why I don't mess with Cyrodiil, and I have the Adventurer pack on one account, getting it soon on the other.

    We have enough war IRL.

Well, that really depends on where you drop your writs off.

OP: I get where you are coming from, but the answer is still no.

But I have thought that it would be neat to have give some advantage to your alliance based on how many people in your alliance delivered writs that day.

I'ma say no, but I really do empathize with the people who want to perform well in the game content of their choice (PvE or PvP) but are kind of shoehorned into doing a large amount of the content they don't like in order to remain competitive. It's definitely way worse for pure PvPers though, if it makes you feel any better. I don't know what it's like since I love all the different types of content in this game, but that also means I understand what people have to go through if they prefer a certain type, and in terms of grind it's just abysmal to slog through, for example, Undaunted ranks.

go repair keeps for your caltrop/warhorn/vigor. will cost gold to start. you will get some ap.

No. A player that wants AP for Alliance War skills only really needs a relatively small amount to unlock these skill lines to max. They can currently get this AP by repairing walls, doing scout missions, taking resources, havineh right scroll quest when the scroll gets returned/captured... lots of things that won't necessarily involve PVP.

    But why?
You can already farm ap for skills in random bgs. Even if you lose, you still get 7k or so, and if you get lucky, you get more ap, motifs and purple jewelry for deconstruction. It's very fast, you can get caltrops in one evening.

How does the Covenant benefit from me doing daily writs and turning them into a box in Elsewyr, or Summerset, or Vvardenfell, or Mournhold? They don’t. At all.

Crafting does not serve the war effort, and so should not reward ap. Writs already give gold, xp, inspiration points, mats, and vouchers. Adding AP to that would be really inappropriate.

I can understand the point your making but even if they add it, it won't make a meaningful impact on your support/assault skill leveling. Your not going to get out of actually playing some PVP, if you want the skills.

Kind a makes me laugh now, just imagine all the players who do writs on multiple characters not only, putting gold in the bank for each character but the days Alliance points as well, depending on how they balance it they could be screwing over the only ways PVP players have to convert AP into gold.

By causing a price crash, since those with gold would now have their own source of AP as well, which they could use to buy the things they want or compete with PVP players selling the same items they use AP to make their gold.

The more I think about it, I think I should have voted no. Plenty of players have means of making decent gold without, taking away PVP players slice of the market.
