ZOS_RogerJ While we completely understand every community manager has to copy/paste the same posts, comments, rules and even warnings, we want the forums to be a civil and constructive platform for the game and its community as a whole. Please remember to keep your posts informative, on-topic, and aware that your playerbase is requesting information on a game-breaking problem that your team promised to address over a month ago.
Pssst. Mods are not community managers.

True, but we can't get to the CM's.
The mods are the only 'people' we ever seem to get responses from, and the communication seems to dead-end there.

Probably means they're busy actually working on the game instead of replying to 1,200 people.

They have community Managers that are literally payed to interact with the community.
    Politeness is respecting others.
Courage is doing what is fair.
Modesty is speaking of oneself without vanity.
Self control is keeping calm even when anger rises.
Sincerity is expressing oneself without concealing ones thoughts.
    Honor is keeping ones word.

Yup one of their roles is to interact with some of the community, yes.

Dropping facts isn't trolling, and they don't care about people's feelings.

These are facts? As in, proven-to-be-true facts? i.e. with proof.

they are anecdotal, based on the degradation of service from many different things, with the common theme of having some aspect of it being in Frankfurt, Germany (else Dallas or Austin Texas for NA given the east/west divide)

i.e. what happens if you put a lot of things in one geographic area that have a reliance on a data network, that just so happen to be near/in a major city, with all the infrastructure problems that brings, when expansion and demand is outpacing practical bandwidth as opposed to theoretical bandwidth which is based normally on bast-case rather than average or worst case.

I understand the concepts. Anecdotes are essentially stories, verbal histories. Not necessarily proven.

Your opinion then, is that internet providers aren't keeping up with demand; and yet businesses using internet to deliver services are deliberately not factoring this into the marketing strategies? Is that the case?

You mean besides interacting with some of the community?

Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

Lots of things that don't involve interacting with some of the community. They probably also have trackers and excel docs they have to fill out, maybe reports they have to write, maybe conference calls or meetings they have to attend, maybe training they have to attend, maybe off-site meetings they have to travel to.

I'm not sure I see the value of most of what you list if the intent is to recruit and excite AND KEEP new users, if these new users then find out that there are server problems (reported by many) that go ignored for years with little more than empty promises of 'soon', and the new recruits find they are pretty much ignored once ZO$ gets their money.

You have to worry a lot less about player retention and airing issues with busted stuff if you actually address the busted stuff with positive results rather than ignoring the issues and passing them off as exaggerations or anecdotes that deserve no response.

They are obviously all under orders to not discuss or respond to any criticisms or to address any of the issues at present with the community. All people can do is keep highlighting it on the forums and more importantly ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

That is where this is going to get sorted. If pressure is put on in the public domain, not hidden away on game forums where only a percentage of the playerbase of the game reads or posts, it will have FAR more impact.

So, want it sorted? Get everyone starting to post it all on their Social Media pages and let the business world know how well it is REALLY doing.
Still in the queue, spamming "F"...
