I'm not entirely sure its the servers per se, but the place they are located.
over the past 2 years I have seen in multiple games and applications that relay on servers in Frankfurt Germany take a nosedive as far as ping and quality of service, because as an area Frankfurt is much oversubscribed as far as data centres go, with the inevitable problem of at specific times that is a huge amount of network "traffic" feeding in/out Frankfurt area, else huge timed data transfers taking place taking place at what would traditionally be off-peek hours, which only serve to expand the peek hours of use.
you can say the same about Texas for the US, again it is much oversubscribed as far as data centres go.
picking a relative geographic centre is great if your amongst the first to do it so have a few years of good service, but when everyone hops on the same bandwagon and that area starts selling itself as the place to be for data centres etc, then there comes a tipping point that the infrastructure around it cannot handle the load and you cannot install core infrastructure fast enough to support the load.
On the internet as soon as it's written it's a fact.Androconium wrote: »I'm not entirely sure its the servers per se, but the place they are located.

These are facts? As in, proven-to-be-true facts? i.e. with proof.
- Update 23Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus

It's also important that you explain why you cancelled. When you do cancel a sub you get an email which contains the email address to send feedback to on why you cancelled, sending a polite and constructive reply to that would go a long way to showing the reason why they lose subs.If everyone cancels ESO plus sub they will lay new servers on in a week. Money talks

Thats wahat goin' on right now for me and for last few weeks, there any no even current ping there. I think this packet loss come from insufficient servers bandwidth of .level3 company and u have lag spikes, skills no fire out, no swap etc. Before elsweyr i saw zo$ used akamai for week or two, now they came bck to this *** company. google for ae-2-3202.ear2.Frankfurt1.Level3.net its simple
So 6 weeks ago we had this thread promissing improvements in server capacity https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/467936/pc-eu-server-update-april-11/p1 which 1st results we should see 4 weeks ago. That didnt happen. Can we get any informations why instead of seeing any improvement in PC EU server performance we see excatly the same poor performance as before login queues were added or even worse ? How something like this can be ignored ?
Where is that improvement in communication that have been promissed long time ago and which never happened ?
Oh and 1 more thing. In the thread i quoted there is fragment saying : "the reason: the EU is a highly PC-centric gaming market - and also because almost all of our EU players are located in two time zones. Compared to the North American servers, where there are four time zones to spread out the "peak playing time", the EU has almost all its users logged in at the same time, which leads to very high peak usage.". It's hard to belive for me that those "high peak usage" issues occur between 3 and 6 am my time which is GMT +2. Even then battleground queue can be messed up and last few days there are lag spikes happening in battlegrounds even at that late hours.

Pssst. Mods are not community managers.Darkstorne wrote: »ZOS_RogerJ wrote: »While we completely understand everyone has their own opinions, thoughts, feelings and even frustrations, we want the forums to be a civil and constructive platform for the game and it's community as a whole. ZOS_RogerJ While we completely understand every community manager has to copy/paste the same posts, comments, rules and even warnings, we want the forums to be a civil and constructive platform for the game and its community as a whole. Please remember to keep your posts informative, on-topic, and aware that your playerbase is requesting information on a game-breaking problem that your team promised to address over a month ago.
Tbh I believe it's the data center causing these issues
If they start to blame database then next question: why are u still using their services? Since i cant belive that theres only one company can provide required bandwide the answer - cheaper prices. Then u'll will ask them well i'm paying money so give me quality...
This gonna be a long conversation which will end up with the only conclusion: they dont provide game quality customers expect to recive for their money. Thats why they keep silence. And they will continue this cos they already move to another game to pump out money from next loot boxes.
