“Please let the answer be yes. Please let the answer be yes. Please let the answer be yes.”
But seriously, If I was designing this mechanic I would have it automatically assigned to the faction that was in last place in Cyrodiil.
Even lore wise it kinda makes sense malacath would gift it to the “oppressed/losing” race.

True. But this time Sheogorath brings the artifact to Mundus. An none can tell in advance if his deeds are bliss or plague.

I had the impression that the Artifact was Volendrung, is this not correct? If it is then it is a Malacath weapon, what is sheo doing with it?

Do you need anything more?
This is what happens if this weapon ends up in an alliance that loves and entirely does nothing else than just pvd.
Also I am thanking all the casual players for their low value inputs.
Its a pvd weapon nothing more and nothing less. It is totally fun if they have emp and that weapon and a zerg.
It will always end up in the zergier faction unless there is a good group holding it.
Pointless to play cyrodiil at all if this does not get removed.
If it ended up in favor of your color, you would not complain.

@Mr_Walker
History (2 years of Azura/Sotha Sil) shows EP doesn’t really care about healthy maps or having good fights. They’ll just congratulate each other on the campaign win, no matter how they got there. But then, people apparently do believe EP “has always been better at PvP”...
But arent you that AD zerging sniper who marks, snipes, cloaks and runs from every fight? What could you possibly know about "having good fights"?
Currently there are just more EP players. There are larger EP guilds.
1. Red 2. Yellow 3. Blue Sometimes blue barely locks thier population. Yellow does hit cap easily but and generally has short Q's. Reds have long Qs at times. Sometime when they start to spill over to Shore they push shore to 3 bars and they take that map with usually a battle group running around unopposed because no one will fight them.
If you put in the fact of relic bonuses and keep bonuses and the artifact yea its going to be a challenge to rein in RED. Hopefully some of the changes will fix some of the lag issues.
Lol, PC sure sounds opposite land of Xbox. Red is the server punching bag here. Ever heard of Team Green? Yellows and Blues just LOVE focusing all their attention on our keeps and rarely fight each other. Theyll both own half the map but we'll be gated constantly. Blues and Yellows are obsessed.

What could have turned into great end game content by allowing everybody a chance at "emperor" like power without the no job no life grind it requires to get emperor.https://youtu.be/ZaopNifUDno

Something like Fortnites season 4 Thanos artifact would have been perfect. Overly powered (PvP wise) but easy to handle because the artifact could only self heal through kills and had no gap closer to give opponents a counter.

I picked it up solo yesterday and all I wanted to do was smash some fools solo with the thing. Soon as I picked it up a swarm of nerds showed up following me EVERYWHERE. They were talking about “which group has the hammer! Add me!”
I wasn’t grouped with NOBODY. Then they were all talking about “go here! Go there!”
I was like F THEM! I’m going to mop some fools. I kept using the gap closer to get away from the group. No heals though so I died. But I went 38 and 1 in under 1 minute of combat lol.
the artifact being OP isnt the real Problem About the Artifact, but it kinda Plays a role. The real Problem is that everyone of your own alliance will stack on the artifact and the other alliances will also try to get it. In prime time this results in cyrodil being unplayable for the time the artifact is up… i e.g. was not able to Change bars for like 10 sec at some Point...
