PVP Artifact needs NERFED ASAP

EP just took Alessia in like 45 seconds with this, they opened both MGs in like 10 seconds

I know its a Daedric Weapon but COME ON

By the time the keep is flagged and you react to it, its been taken

If this game isn't an apparent joke to you yet... i mean... it is what it is.

Yes, the Artifact is a nightmare in the hands of those Great or higher skilled in PvP. But there is a catch though. The wielder needs to make the KBs to feed the artifact, bigger the wielder's group, less chances to feed the Artifact and faster the wielder dies, no matter how godly or terrible they are.

As well larger group you are in, the greater the risk to feed the artifact and give it more power. Solo, and small ranged stamian groups with knockbacks, stuns and snares (2-4) eat wielders up very quickly, to bad people keep wanting to nerf a direct counter to the artifact. SO...

If you closer look at patch notes, you will notice that wielded doesn’t need a single blow, wielder needs... AP (except from resurrection and repairing)

This is where the problem, you can “feed” the weapon by capturing resources and taking keeps.

It doesn't count.
Only AP from actively killing enemy players matters.
Unless ZOS decided to change it completely after the PTS cycle, which is unlikely.

The artifact is visible on the map at all times which means you can easily see which direction the wielder is heading and anticipate where they're going and get there ahead of them. The artifact isn't OP just because you decided to sit around with your thumb up your hind quarters.

Artifacts are suppose to be OP (they are the most powerful weapons in TES lore), they are only available 4-5 times a day and have insane requirements to keep using.

It's like common sense has just left humanity and people just complain to complain...unless it Star Wars or Game of Thrones then yea that's merit to complain...

PvP in an MMO isn't supposed to be balanced. It's just a fun distraction from PvE.

This mechanic was designed to be chaotic. If you want serious PvP, you have BGs, or better yet, MOBAs.

Zos clearly stated it would take down keep gates pretty fast so you are not brining any unexpected news to Zos.. It seems the entire idea of adding a weapon like this, and possibly more, is a distraction for the real issues and to bring interest to Cyrodiil since Zos' incapable of eliminating the game breaking lag and other issues persistent in Cyrodiil. Lets face it. Zos has been trying to improve Cyrodiil for years and tends to just make it worse.

It’s a bit stupid, but that the artifact is a PvDoor weapon was stated early on in the testing. ZOS apparently is fine with the weapon being a nuke vs keep gates and a soft pillow vs NPCs abs players. Maybe this helps shortening last emp Keep fights, who knows.

There were many deadric artifacts in Elder Scrolls lore. Volendrung is just the begining.

Wait till they add deadric BOW artifact.

1st Snipe -> One shots keep's door.
2nd Snipe -> One shots keep's inner gate.
3rd Snipe -> One shots Npc guards and all players defending flags...

^ That is the reson why I quited pvp. I was on PTS and I saw what Volendrung can do.
And I think they say in patch notes about "weapons" not just a "weapon" which implies there will be more of them in the future.

I like the idea of alliance locked campaigns. But daedric artifacts ? Nope. Those belong to single player games. Non of this stuff should ever be in multiplayer game, let alone in a PvP game...

This is what happens if this weapon ends up in an alliance that loves and entirely does nothing else than just pvd.

Also I am thanking all the casual players for their low value inputs.

Its a pvd weapon nothing more and nothing less. It is totally fun if they have emp and that weapon and a zerg.
It will always end up in the zergier faction unless there is a good group holding it.

Pointless to play cyrodiil at all if this does not get removed.

Two game changing mechanics were introduced in PVP at once. Both the locks and the artifact. This was extremely stupid decision, now you cannot gauge results of one or another. Locks first, experimental bs later.
