I agree. The UI in general is a bit lacking in this game. No permanently clock, no way to see collected recipes, etc, without being at a crafting station, no estimate of queue time... There are a few things they could add.
++ for this
Anything that makes it easier to organise and promote guild activities in-game would be super useful.
atm my guilds use discord to pin messages, have sign ups for events etc and it’s easy for people to miss them or simply be unaware they even exist. It predominantly disadvantages the newer, less experienced players, exactly those who benefit most from guild training activities.
But, again, this is a programming issue, not a game design/crown store colouring in exercise, so ZOS will find it hard to implement.
It would be nice.
I would much rather have something like EVE Online did where you have a personal calendar but any guilds can post events which appear as markers on your calendar. This way you can also have the game producer (ZOS) add events to the calendar you might be interested in.
So we could open up a calendar, see when drops were on Twitch, when ESO Live would be on next, what guild events from all our guilds are arranged and even set our own reminders.

I know not every guild has a website but I would encourage guild leaders to try and build one, they are very easy to make and if you only want basic stuff then you don't need a domain, although they are cheap enough. I used wix.com as it's a lot easier to you than Wordpress imo.

It's like having to google skyshard locations. It's annoying for console players
People should not have to interact outside them game to make guild calendar events.

Sorry, I never thought of console players, we are PC only so it's no big deal to Alt tab to a website. In any case surely you also want to be able to see events in advance, like, "hmm what are we doing this Friday for the trial run?". If you want to know what's going on in real time then just ask in chat. However I do agree, as I already said, this would be a fantastic feature.

I am not console. It's just issue about immersion and user experience. It's bad user experience to have to go elsewhere outside game for something, especially something that is suppose to engage player more into game.
I am talking more about social things. Or maybe member ( no-officer) wants to say when they are doing pledges.

Sure, but u can join to event now even if not in game (from smartphone for example) on google calendar, raidplanner or in discord channel. With in-game event system u can see events only if u in game.
To clarify, the way it would would would be a personal calendar, but if a guild you're in posts an event it will show on your calendar as well. Maybe with the option to show/hide events from G1, G2 etc.RavenSworn wrote: »+1 to this idea.
However I kinda like Turelus idea, where you have a personal calendar rather than a guild calendar. That way the player can updates their own event aside from just looking at guild events.
Auto updating guild calendars uses a lot of resources which I don't think ZoS plans on doing. It sucks for consoles players but any body wants to have a go at doing a ccalendar addon?

It's simple if you look at guild finder. You will see the issue is we need more in game mangement tools. There's a lot of poorly established guilds. The tools you mention work for some people, but many are suffering from a lack of tools.
