Pretty much this, had to do it with healer who was geared towards healing as DD was a bit to glass cannon and tank was mediocre, it was an boring fight. Was into it as an DD I and healer killed the rat keeper then have to wait for tank and other dd to finish boss.Caligamy_ESO wrote: »WolfingHour wrote: »Nerftheforums wrote: »

What you and I experience as "critical bugs" just don't register for the great majority of ESO players, so it isn't worth ZOS' time.
If you want to play a game with a good, balanced, mostly bug-free combat experience, ESO is looking like a bad bet.
Yeah, but name a game that fits your last line? I've never seen one, the closest was The Witcher 3, and that's only because CDProjektRed spend a phenomenal amount of time polishing before release and as a single player game they can do that. MMOs are dynamic and need constant updating, ESO is pretty good on the whole, try Star Trek Online if you really want a bug fest, an MMO so bad that they literally admit to scrapping content because they don't know how to fix it!
Never understood this line of thinking. It's pretty much saying other games do it, so it's ok. Or it's like saying "Yes, I beat kittens, but the guy across the street beats kittens with puppies! So what I do isn't so bad!"
Other games having issues doesn't and shouldn't mean this game should get a pass. And frankly it's that attitude that sends a message that everything is fine and doesn't need fixed. It's a deterrent to improvement...you are hurting your and other gamers experience by sticking up for a company over your fellow players own interests. Namely, a functional game. And for what? It's not like you win a award or get free crowns for being the top white knight.

Of course not. It's a basic ethic that a company stand behind its product and do everything within its power to deliver what they sold to the customer. So ZOS should do everything reasonably within their power to deliver the AvA experience they sold to us.So many of us just want to play the game as intended. I dont think thats too much to ask, ffs.

Oh I'm no white knight I assure you, I'm banned from the STO forums for telling them what I think, over there the Forum Gestapo patrol with an iron rod, the slightest hint of criticism and you're shadowbanned, so you don't even know you are not being read until someone tells you.
It's just that I don't see many bugs in this game, and what there are are so minor as not to bother me. The only issue we in our guild ever complain about is the damned Dungeon Finder decline bug, that needs fixing for sure.
If something is done I don't agree with I will be the first on here to make my feelings known, be sure of that, however I do believe you have to temper your criticism with a little understanding and tolerance, as I said this is a dynamic and constantly evolving game, it's not down for weeks or months whilst they ensure 100% bug free compatibility, they do the best testing possible with the PTS and then fix anything serious as soon as they can on launch. I'm just saying that those of you playing should try other MMOs to find out how bad they really can be. Having said that, do you know how much difference it makes folks complaining on forums? Zero, unless it's a game breaker they usually ignore it or file it in a long todo list, so all you really do is end up getting stressed and annoyed and finally not playing.

That specific bug, has existed in the game in one form or other (the LFG wasn't always exactly like this) for many many years.
My whole stance on this is that it is embarrassing and makes hearing "killing it" that much of a bitter pill to swallow.
