So, today I was browsing around an achievement furnisher goods, and I saw a Gargoyle statue. I was curious to see what kind of statue it was and, when I was going to check it, I accidentally pressed E. It was.. 50,000 gold. Ouch. There is no sell back button, so now my home has a statue worth half it's price.
What about you guys? What was the worst accidental move, be it attacking an innocent, going out of sneak and losing a bunch of tel var stones, etc, you made in-game?
Think of they guy who bought itAulus_Claudius wrote: »I'm sure I've done worse, but just recently accidentally crafted a set bow at clv150 rather than 160 and upgraded it to gold before I noticed the problem when I couldn't apply the glyph.
Managed to sell it for the cost of the gold upgrade materials, but ouch.
Wondered about it a bit, I assumed it was for someone needing it for an crafting writ but could not escape the thought that some sent it to me because I was a potato player.ESO, lacking an reply button since beta.Chicharron wrote: »10 minutes ago, now i enter the forum and see this...
i was going to send a million gold to my nephew and end up sending it to some random mofo.
It will be a pleasant surprise when he sees that he has a strange mail.
I once sent some training armor to the wrong guy, he was nice and sent it back
Once I got one potato from an unknown player
I now have a new goal in this game. Potato spam ftw

.....a week later was back at the store for MY OWN copy!
I was clearing my inventory and I tried to destroy a useless one handed axe. What really happened thanks to lag was: I equiped the useless axe, the item I was hovering for destruction was my TFS yellow infused dagger. (yes, I destroy items by drag'n'drop) After that incident I started to join PUG nSO runs once again. (and I now have the setup back again)
I got a master writ for a gold ring, with that trait that requires you to buy the mat from the master writs vendor. For some reason I had one in my bag.
Got the ring done and upgraded to purple, only to realize I was one plating short to make it gold.
I thought about locking it and waiting until I had enough gold platings. I went about my in-game day, and as usual, by the end of the day, I deconned everything I had no use for. Get to the jewelry station and go "cool! A purple ring. Let's see if I get a grain out of it."
I used my only 4 purple platings to make that ring. The quest sat on my journal for more than a month. And no, I did not get a grain out of the ring when I deconned it.

I sneezed out of nowhere and the sneeze caused me to purchase the wrong feather. Much to my annoyance you cannot sell the event items back to the merchant so i just wasted 10 tickets for nothing.
have probably wasted about 30 or 40 tickets in this game so far which makes this whole jumping through hoops, limited tickets at a time, limited time items, etc a pain. This ticket event is actually more headache than it is worth because it has been so poorly thought out that just frustrates people.

Jewelry master writs aren't worth doing. Considering the current prices of materials on EU-PC where I play, the craft cost for the most advantageous ones is around 900-1000 gold per voucher, while for other types of master writs like Blacksmith, Clothier, Woodworking is more like 400-500 and for Enchanting and Alchemy is as low as 300 per voucher. So it's actually way more profitable to sell the upgrade and trait materials, buy some of the other writs and craft those instead for more vouchers and even a good profit margin. I destroy most jewelry master writs I get, and only keep the really big ones >350 or so, with the hope that one day the upgrade material prices will drop somewhat and they will be worth crafting.
