Yep. A 10k merciless in no-CP = 3300 heal = 1650 after battle spirit.
That one will save ya!
do damage percent based heals get halved? i am pretty sure they they don't, as they are already halved in the damaged part.
Doesn't matter. Devs trying to pass it off as a burst heal truly is comical
Lol do you get a heal in one chunk? Then that's a burst heal.
You heard it folks, 1-2k hp is a “burst heal”
My CP gives me a “burst heal” when I get crit too.
Can’t forget stamplar’s “burst heal” from Jabs
Or stamsorc’s “burst heals” from Surge
Or Warden’s “burst heal” from using an animal companion
If it’s not returning a noticeable chunk of HP, it’s not a burst heal. If it can be dodged, it’s not a reliable heal. If it can be reduced by an enemy’s resists, it’s not a good heal.
You all don't get it... NBs can't tank or heal, their only purpose is doing dmg and that's it... If you want to be a brawler, pick a DK, if you want to have high heals, pick a Templar...
Stop this nonsense, don't try to make the damn Rogue class into a tank because it's clearly not one.
I'm sick of Devs trying to reinvent the wheel, sometimes it make me think that they haven't play an MMO in their lives...
dps class, is suppose to D P S
so this is good.
thats why im not a healer
thats why im not a tank
i chose D P S because i want a dps class.
There is not such thing as DPS class. Every class is designed to be viable in every function with its own twist.
If you think NBs is all about damage you didn’t get the concept of the game.

Typically the heal that is based on a damage skill in PVP does not have the same half restriction of normal heals because the damage is already cut in half.
Do you have a link or doc proving this? it is something I have been wondering for a long time now, about strife for example.

Curious when sorcs are going to get similar treatment. Maybe making haunting a projectile to allow better counterplay?
The same day when cloak will recive streak increase cost treatment lol. Seriously sorry but I cant stop laughing when I see dodge roll spamming stamblades complaining about curse in context of counterplay.
and that'll happen when ZoS adds potions that prevent sorcs from streaking and Shielding for 15 seconds.
That will happen when detect potions will also disable options for nightblade to use shadow image dodge roll and moving for 15 seconds.

ok then we agree, they should remove both the heal and the mitigation because nightblade doesn't need either with cloak/major evasion access lol

They were already the best version of stamnb since one tamriel came out, so I don't really see the point of excitement. Your strong spec will just become tankier and lose quite some damage.

I cant help but wonder how many of you actually went over to the pts to see how the change effected things, and how many just read a thing then got upset. NB is doing pretty well on pts, the ones I have tested and seen are not suffering some game ending blow to the ankles. Often times things look worse on paper then in practice. It doesn't even look that bad on paper in the first place, you lost 8% damage you can make up for with other sets and group buffs.

Tbh these changes actually twisted my playstyle to not fire AW when its up to pressure my enemy but to hold it for the passive mitigation until the burst window opens. I guess thats the way this skill is intended to be used, but in comparison to live I now have indirectly less pressure through less frequent AW shots. Its kinda weird, one can adapt, but I wouldve prefered to see the damage mitigaion on leeching strikes instead.
Guessing when it goes live Nightblades won't be good in BGs but I might not feel like I'm bringing the entire team down by solo-queueing a nb. Logging onto my magsorc and bashing my face repeatedly into the keyboard will still be vastly more effective in BGs.
